My wife and two older children and I stayed at iL Chiostro mid-December last year. Nice, clean and spacious room. Beautiful surroundings. Very, very nice and helpful lady (Ukrainian?) checked us in. Breakfast was good. Would happily stay at this hotel again. :)

The hotel we're staying for the third time. It is very conveniently located if fly to Malpensa airport and rent a car to explore the surroundings of Milan. Parking free. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast in the morning - coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, croissants, cheese, jam, honey, etc. The room was warm in the winter. Good wi-fi internet. Located... More

We got an upgrade (4 person room for 2+2), so by default we were happy with the hotel. Very nice scenery, just around the corner of the Monastery. Very good breakfast and helpfull staff. Not too many restaurants nearby, those that are, are a bit pricey. Watch out for the Mosquito's in the summer. If you have your car, a... More

Great location just outside historic abbey. Basic but fine rooms. Good value for money - fresh croissants for breakfast...

We stayed here for 2 days, being close to Milan but not in the hustle and bustle of the big city. The room was very clean, although unfortunately facing some kind of playing field where the young men played football with lots of shouting until nearly midnight. One drawback for us was the fact that although earlier reviews had mentioned... More

A very nice hotel, a wonderful contrast to the noisy Milano, and yet so close. The rooms spacious and clean, at very reasonable rates. We had dinner twice at the Restaurante Al Monastero, which was absolutely delicious and the all-inclusively menu was 15 - 20 euro. If you have a car, you can take the metro to downtown Milano from... I really enjoyed this quaint hotel that is NOT in Milan but not a long drive away. The town is very small and not well known outside of the immediate area. But, for a good taste of Lombardia away from the city centers you can't beat this place. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were nice. Not great... More

This hotel is about 20 kms outside of Milan and is part of the Morimondo Abbey. We weren't quite sure what we had committed ourselves to as we were driving there but once we arrived it was a pleasant surprise. The most important point to make about this hotel is that, if you plan to go into Milan, you MUST... More
