Ideal location en route to Calais. Friendly staff, but hotel tired and jaded and the food was not very good. Reasonable price for the room but we thought the meal was expensive for what it was. The room was clean and adequate.

Having recently stayed at two excellent Brit Hotels in St Malo and Fougeres we thought we would try this hotel as an overnight stop on our way from London to the Dordogne. Our sat nav found the hotel ,without this it would have been very hard and first impressions were not great with unkempt flower beds and dirty carpets to... More

The friendly people at the reception make this a perfect stop en route south. We were advised to go here from a chambre d'haute chez brian which was full on arriving late on the 14th july holiday weekend (book ahead people). Forget about f1 and go brit. Price for a double is 65. Rooms are clean but not spacious. 5min... More

If you are looking for a very reasonably priced bed for the night in this area, you could do a lot worse than the Brit Hotel. Decor is a bit functional, but did not appear tired in the main. Room size was adequate but not large, and it has a restaurant which unfortunately does not function in the evening at... More

As we wanted to have one stop during our way back from the south of France to Brussels, we have chosen for Orléans. This spot is perfect, nice city. The hotel is a bit far from the highway but that did not matter as we had the time. The service and rooms are perfect for one night. Only disadvantage is... More

We stayed here as a stop off on a long drive and expected much less. This is a budget hotel, but really quite nice. Clean and a few extras (flat screen, hairdrier, toiletries) which I didn't expect for 40 euros. This is out of town though - you'll need a car, but was great for us as had a car... More

This hotel is competitively priced and the rooms are very reasonable, considering the rates. Furnishings are basic but functional, bed was comfortable, bathroom not terribly modern but certainly not grotty. Service was friendly, the room was quiet and breakfast was basic continental. I didn't get to experience the restaurant as it is closed on the weekends, which is quite inconvenient... More

We stayed here as it was convenient for visiting family in Vennecy. Good hotel for its category, and the weekend rate is a particularly good value. Rooms are functional, clean and quiet. Plenty of hot water, though it takes a while to get going. Front desk service is friendly and helpful. The cold buffet breakfast is good quality. Location is... More
