We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food was outstanding and I can't imagine being able to choose duck with gingerbread crumble anywhere else! I went with 3 friends and in every case the meat was cooked to perfection and the whole dishes really well balanced. The wine waiters English was incredibly good and he made some excellent, well... Managed to book a table in this popular restaurant. Majority of diners were French, a good sign if locals use. Had a spacious round table out in the garden. Plenty of tables inside. The menu was in French, needed a helping hand with translation! There were three different menus varying in prices to choose from. Portions small and lack of vegetables.... More

Friendly welcome. Nice rooms, the town itself is very small so everything is quiet. Lovely pool and garden area. Restaurant was very nice; breakfasts were good and plentiful (coffee cups were very trendy and wide, so coffee cooled off immediately unfortunately.)

Ok just, but a little disappointing. Bar prices pretentious. Wifi unreliable. Room lacking facilities and very small for two people. En suite bathroom good. Nice garden, restaurant good, evidenced by numbers of locals

Stayed here in July. Unfortunately we were given The Garden Room - not in the actual hotel but tucked away down the garden. Very disappointing. Below average accommodation, poor furniture. Dust in corners. Two of the lightbulbs not working. Couldn't open window because of view straight out onto side of parked van right by the window (not part of the... More

We were booked into this hotel as part of a cycling holiday. On arrival, we were shown to a room in the annexe and although clean with a good shower, we were a bit disappointed not to be in the main building. However, they recovered their position in the dining room which I rate as first class - excellent food... More

We visited this hotel on a cycling holiday and it was clean, with a good shower and comfortable bed. There was complimentary wi-fi.The pool area was also very good. We dined in the hotel which was quality food and good service. Would recommend for a stopover

We found this little gem via Logis de France. A three star hotel close to BLOIS. The family run Hotel has a lovely garden and pool and is situated in a pretty village with plenty of secure parking. The Staff are friendly careing and efficiant and the public rooms comfortable and elegant. The Food is exceptional, the portions large, the winelist... More

Four of us stayed here over 2 nights during a walking holiday and enjoyed top class service provided by lovely staff and the food - what can I say, it was simply fantastic. The hotel is set in a sleepy little village just a few miles from Blois and very near Cheverny - a pretty little village with a most... More

We went to this auberge because we had been here some 30 years ago and we liked it very much at that time. Also the ratings of Logis de France were maximal both for the lodging and for the food. On our way from Belgium to Spain, a nice stop we thought. Arriving there the first impression is OK. A... More
