We arrived at 6pm after 7 hours on the road in the rain to find that the room in the castle which was reserved months in advance had been given to someone in a busload of tourists who arrived just before us. We spent a wonderful weekend at this chateau, it is truly something from a fiary tale. It is very picturesque and the rooms are all very unique. It was a relief not to be staying somewhere with TV and identical boring rooms but instead somewhere with character. The food was great too. more
