This is one of the Best hotel known in small industrail town of france - Le creusot. I chose this hotel as in past i had stayed with the chain of Best western hotels in europe & i was satisfied. My experience in Le Creusot was in line with earlier. The hotel is in the city centre yet calm ,... More

We booked ahead aware of the bisons futes traffic problems that make crossing France after Bastille Day a trial for many motorists. We entered France from the Basel Belfort corner driving in the 40 degree heat. We stopped for a drink and resolutely carried on as the traffic went from thin to terrible as we neared Beaune . The 6... More

This hotel is located closed to the city center. It’s quite and clean although a bit run down. The breakfast is ok but it cost 15 € extra. In the hotel there is a restaurant nice and with good service. My opinion is that the price does not balanced by the services and the quality. The rooms are not equipped... More

We stayed here as a way of accessing the Burgundy region this summer. The hotel is in a gorgeous building- a former outbuilding of the nearby grand house. The receptionists were efficient, but not particularly helpful either while checking in or at any other time. Our room was a junior suite, which was on the top floor, quite a long... More

We choose that hotel for it represent to the local history. Being the only hotel in Le Creusot 115 Euros excluding breakfast for a 3 star hotel it is very expensive for what you get. This is France and you crawl under taxes, the consumer finish by paying. Overall nice experience

A splendid old building converted into a hotel, with every mod con... almost. Excellent service and friendly manner of all staff we came across. Possibly the best buffet breakfast we have had - not only this holiday - but including the unbeatable 'German Breakfasts' of other holidays! Their August offer of a reduced room price and including the breakfast was... More

We had a nice two night stay in this hotel. Our requirements are rather basic - a good room and a good breakfast, clean bathroom and shower with lots of hot water. No problems here. The place has an air of a former grandeur, otherwise everything was fine. Be sure to see the giant Schneider Steam Hammer located on a... More

While the building looked nice this hotel was easily the worst experience on our 2 week trip through France. Service was below average to non existent, rooms very basic & hot and the quality of food was extremely bad. The only positive thing about our stay was the fact that this was only a 1 night stopover along the way.

The facade looks ok. Our rooms were located at the rear of the property, massive rooms but in need of refurbishment, especially the bathroom which strongly smelt of damp. It also had several cracked tiles. No bar fridge or breakfast in room tarif. The door lock was very flimsy which made us feel insecure. Has good potential but needs capital... More
