My husband and I took a road trip to Chablis for a mid-week overnight stay. I booked one of the packages direct from the website that included a multi-course dinner, breakfast, and a superior room. The room was airy and spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a queen bed in the main building (you need to specify this while reserving),... More

Stay overnight ,had booked in advance. Room was ok but small, bathroom ok but nothing more to say. Bar very pleasant with a corner with an open fire. Good restaurant ,food well presented, very nice choice of wine but VERY EXPENSIVE...a meal for 2 people with starter, main course, dessert, coffee and wine...OVER 300 EUROS. Glad we did it but will... We drove to Chablis without reservations at any hotel. Recommended to this small stylish hotel by the local tourist office. There was a wine festival in town that weekend and they were only able to accommodate us for 1 night. The rooms were very recently furnished, with comfortable bedding and a large bathroom. Shower was a walk in wet room... More

Pleasant, professional staff. The room was very comfortable and clean, the bathroom also. Very helpful and knowledgeable advice on the local wine producers. Wonderful food and wines, discreet but efficient service. What more do you need? Will definitely return

Things we liked:- Location – for a stay in the Chablis region – very good Rooms – Good quality; in annex; but ....... Things we didn’t like: I would preface our comments by saying that you would have thought that booking in advance (in this case we booked on 9th August – 2 months ahead of our stay) would ensure... Beautiful place and stay! This trip to France I have been lamenting the degradation of the French fine dining experience, but no more! The room was clean, spacious, well accommodated and dinner service was absolutely superb! We recogized the staff's professional and accommodating attitude, the chef came out to greet us, and we gave him accolades for his lovely food... More

Beautiful hotel - our rooms were large, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I loved the enormous walk-in shower in the bathroom! Friendly welcome. The food is amazing. The restaurant has quite a formal feel to it, but the staff are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food was beautifully presented and of an extremely... More

Can't say enough good things. I stayed here through a tour so I can't comment on price, but the room was modern and clean and the shower was heaven after a day of walking. Dinner was amazing. Especially the cheese....our jaws hit the floor when the tray of cheese came out and the waiter laughed at us and said there... More

The rooms here are tidy, clean and reasonably comfortable. But, like so many small owner-operated French hotels, you do not come for the bed. You come for the food and the wine. And on that front, the hotel scores well. We enjoyed it and the people were delightful. We were just passing through on the way to the Alps, but... More

This is an old favourite which we have visited ever since it opened. It was with some trepidation that we booked this time, given the comments elsewhere about it being on a downward spiral. But Mr Vignaud is back in the seat, ( though was not in evidence), and the kitchen was on top form again when we went there.... More
