We have been in the hotel several times and still enjoy it. Spacious room in the residence. the food in the restaurant was perfect exept the fish which was to salty. We informed the chef when he made his tour, but he did not answer very properly. As if you are not allowed to have a comment. the personal worked... More

We stayed in the hotel which was spacious and very comfortable except the floor was very noisy. The bathroom (the shower in particular) was wonderful!! However, the taps were VERY hard to turn. The restaurant was amazing - we had the duck for 2 which was carved at the table and tasted awesome. It was within reasonable walking distance to... More

Four of us visited this restaurant recently for a lovely lunch. Although aperitifs were offered we decided to have wine as we did have a 60 km drive ahead of us later in the afternoon. A nice selection of "dips" was brought to the table - aubergine, salmon and a pork terrine....We ordered our meals and so it began. My... More

We stayed at this hotel during a wine tour of the area. It was comfortable and very adequate for our needs. The floor in the room was not carpeted, so this seemed rather noisy when we walked on it. I'm not sure if this was a problem for the guests staying on the floor below. Breakfast was pretty good, with... More

Interesting to read all the reviews! I am a bit of a hotel snob in many ways and those things that were negatives for some of the reviewers were not at all for my husband and myself! We arrived late in the evening but the resturant which was busy , welcomed us. My husband had devine seared froie Gras, best... More

Some of the finest food experienced in Chablis. The fois gras, turbot and soufflé were all excellent and the sommelier chose perfect wines to match.Service and Maitre d' were sublime.well done.the rooms were in the Fecre courtyard and were a delight.

We came back to L'Hostellerie after 4-5 years, and found that the standard had dropped. The rooms are nice and clean, but nothing out of the ordinary. We booked in the hotel, but found ourselves in the annex across the street, which was not really what we were looking for. The standard is pretty touristic, with plastic glasses wrapped in... More

We spent one night in Chablis in this beautiful hotel. Everything is perfect, receptionists and service are polite, helpful and take care of the customers. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Just take morning coffee reading newspaper in lounge area, and your day will start well. Highly recommended.

We were on a wine tour and this hotel had been chosen by the company that had organised our trip. It was a very nice hotel. One disappointment was that we were accomodated in the annexe, instead of in the main building. In actual fact, this was fine . The annexe was very quiet and very clean. The shower was... More

We stayed on night of 13 September, a Sunday. We had stayed here 3 times before in the 19990s and early 2000. Now there is an an expanded hotel catering to large coach parties. It seemed as if the staff were going through the motions and were very tired on Sunday evening. The bar was open at 7pm but nobody... More

Hello, Thank you to your comment. We are sorry as our organisation dissapointed you. But if only the half of the team eat at 7h we wont be ready at 7h30 for the starter. But we have maybe something to improve. We will work on it. Kind regards More
