After conducting some business in Paris, we decided to spend an extra week in France and picked Brittany for a 7 day vacation. We had no problem booking this Chateau Hotel from Canada and were certainly not disappointed... We has the Ducal Suite on the top floor. Access to the suite was through a small lounge in the chapel of... More

This is the first time I have written a review on trip advisor but I use it all the time and appreciate honest reviews, so here is mine... Lovely chateau but in the wrong location - too far from the coast for our liking and very difficult to find, you have to drive for more than half an hour to... More

This is my third attempt to post a review of our stay at Chateau Brelidy. My first review was published and then withdrawn with the explanation that it should contain “no substantial quoted material from other sources, including (but not limited to) e-mail correspondence”. I had included quotes from emails received from this hotel after our stay to illustrate the... More

Just arrived at the Chateau, the road was blocked and the deviation hard to find. The drive up to the Chateau is gorgeous and the castle looks very inviting. Our room however is terrible. Not only are we outside in the annex but the room is like something from a 60's motel. Decorated in faded browns with dirty windows and... More

"When refusal to trade discount rhymes with vengeance." We always have a great pleasure to receive guests in the southern hemisphere, but we deplore the misleading diatribe that is the result of the vengeance of those customers facing our refusal on our part to offer a trade discount to our note and the remark was made during their stay at... Wonderful hotel: really romantic location, beautiful decor. However there are many drawbacks: 1) Except for the lady working breakfast, very sweet and kind, the hotel staff shows the typical French attitude: not really appreciated. 2) Forget about having dinner there. Unfortunately, the wonderful food is easily forgotten when you have to wait forever for your courses (over 30-40 minutes, in... More

With excellent grounds for our dogs, food and service and food to die for and the proximity ofthe Cote de Granite Rose it ticks all the boxes.

Having visited la cote de granit rose (which is just breathtaking) for the first time, my partner and I wanted to make our stay extra special by finding somewhere really stunning to eat. After asking around and trawling the net for an hour or so we decided upon the restaurant at Chateau Brelidy... By golly are we glad we did,... More

We choose this hotel as our final night's accommodation after a three week holiday in France, so that we would be within easy travelling distance of Roscoff the next day but would get good accommodation and diner on our last night. The hotel, location, staff and excellent cuisine lived up to our expectation. This is superior French customer service and... More

We stayed in the 'suite' - apparently an ex-bakehouse! - for two nights and had two dinners, both very good. The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable and had its own little terrace. The surroundings are delightful and deeply peaceful. They were also very friendly and helpful when I needed some Internet in a hurry! Could have stayed there happily... More

Imagine a small but impressive castle nested on a little hill in wild countryside, with spreading greenland, a scenery unchanged from hundreds of years. Got that picture? Well then you got this charming little, slightly hard to find (make sure you take a well-enlarged map with you ) 15th-century renovated castle. Tis delightful and the reception is welcoming and warm.... More
