What a lovely little hotel. We had dinner, which was superb, and breakfast was simple, but really nice (hot croissants!) The owners were really friendly, the salt mines were fascinating to visit, and the nearby castle was worth a visit (Riba de Santuiste) - you have to walk up, and it's just a ruin but the views are amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a really relaxing time. The hotel is located in a small charming town called Salinas de Imon around 150km from Madrid. It has a positive atmosphere and really nice old furniture. There are salon and small library available to everybody. Our room was excellent (Carlos III). The hotel is offering good breakfast... Far more important, the host was not performing like he should: he did not ask us if we wanted to have a drink... More

One should try each room of this wonderful place listed as a protected historic building. We stayed in the top room obliging us to climb several staircases passing through wonderfully decorated areas. It was most worthwhile. The lounge with view in 20 meters deep original well -covered by safety glass - would fit in any top segment international hotel. The... More

I can only recommend this place. - Great service. - The room where we were hosted was spacious and very well decorated. - Delicious tasty spanish traditional food - Nice villages all around, specially "Santamera" As a summary, if you want to relax for a few days, this is a great choice to do so.

Before I start, let me describe my personal situation and expectations, in order for you to better understand my point of view when writing this review. We are young couple looking to spend the weekend in the area sightseeing, and also relaxing at the hotel. Imon is a very small, quiet town near Sigüenza. There is not a thing to... More
