We stayed here early July as we were attending a Veterans memorial at nearby Esquay Notre Dame. Although the hotel is a budget type it was very clean with a huge bed nice bedding and lovely ensuite shower room again very clean also free wifi .The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was good and it was taken in... A very nice clean hotel which is conveniently situated in Caen for use when travelling via the Ouistreham Ferry terminal. Easy access to all main roads. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of it, and the quality bedlinen supplied in the rooms and the wall mounted TV. The reason for my low marking is simply that the twin beds... More

On our way back from Bergerac stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting the beaches. Nice and clean. Great value for money and would recommend it any time. Breakfast was simple but very good and would stay there again.

Stayed here like others as its only 20 minutes to Ouistreham for the ferry. When we arrived the gate was closed but the side gate was open so I could check in to get our access code. Rooms clean and adequate, no kettle. Bathroom again fine, plenty of towels, wall mounted hair and shower jel. Didn't have breakfast as left... More

We stayed here on our way back from the Vendee and were a little apprehensive as our visit to the Sud branch on our way down was poor. However this hotel was fantastic, our room was immaculate, fresh clean white sheets and towels. I could not fault the cleanliness of the room or bathroom. The children loved having bunk beds.... We've stayed at a few B&Bs and they are always good value. This one is no exception. We booked on their website and arrived after reception had closed. This is not a problem, as all the automated check-in needs is the booking reference number. It prints your room number and pass code which is what you need to get into... More

We stop regularly overnight at the B & B at Caen Memorial when traveling down through France the next day. The rooms are comfortable and basic but serve there purpose for one night. Breakfast if required is continental and at extra cost but good value, you can have as much as you like. It is in a quiet location and... More

I spent a night at this hotel while visiting Caen Memorial. It was just a 15 minute walk away which made it nice and easy. With such an affordable price I was expecting a very basic room but was nicely surprised. There was a nice double bed, clean bathroom and even a TV. Was very glad to have picked this... More

Stopped here for 1 night after ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. Good location to see some of the historic sites around the Normandy Beaches. Hotel very secure, car park has security gate and automated system if you arrive after the staff leave. Digital code for gate and hotel room. We pre-booked breakfast, but wasn't worth the money. Dining area... More

We used this as an overnight stopover having crossed from Portsmouth on the afternoon-evening ferry; it’s only 20 minutes drive from Ouistreham. Our first time at Caen Mémorial but it’s similar to the other B&B hotels we’ve used; unstaffed at night but entry by credit card (or booking number if pre-booked) gives you the room number and an entry code...
