Stayed one night on a cycling trip with friends. Owner was very helpful and spoke good English . No restaurant at hotel - the best in town is the one in the Rue du Chateau, real haute cuisine. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.

The building is very beautiful, the location is superb, the couple running it are very very nice, in fact perhaps the nicest people we came across during our month in France however the rooms are quite run down; but I wouldn't let that put you off. After all I felt it was pretty good value for money.
This is a great place to stay. Day trips abound from Nerac by car and there is nice shopping within walking distance. The town is friendly and has almost everything you need. The restaurants are casual and serve a good fare of food.
