At first I thought this would be isolated and then realized that the best restaurant was just across the street. Staff were very helpful with information for visiting the surrounding sites. Smallish room but everything there that one needs with healthy breakfast.

We only stayed 1 night in this hotel on our way back to Calais and our only regret is that we could not stop longer to explore the area. The hotel is in a very good location. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is compact and the rooms are not enormous but everywhere was clean and tidy. The beds were... More

Compact and Bijou! In a lovely spot near to the river and to restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and it has air conditioning. I stayed in room 12. It is on the first floor and is nicely decorated. The shower room was disappointing. It is very cramped and the shower is a ceramic tray with... More

We stayed here for one night in the Dordogne. The room is small, but very, very clean and the town is so charming! We had a corner room that faced the street. It was a little loud with the noise coming from the restaurant across the street, but it didn't bother me. We woke up to hot air balloons crossing... More

This hotel was a god send. We didn't have a reservation anywhere and were lucky we found one in this hotel. It's a good value for money in the lovely town of beynac, right in the centre. The hotel is small but very nice, modern, and clean. Receptionist was very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and clean accommodation in a great location near the river and local restaurants. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff were always helpful and very tolerant of those with limited French. The only downside was the small size of the room and the tiny en-suite. The shower curtain and it's hanging rail was slightly larger than the... More

Room was small but nicely decorated and very clean. Air con did not work though so we had to have the window opened which means you could hear all the street noise. Walls are thin too you can hear people in other rooms talking, sneezing, and flushing their toilets. Overall it is a nice enough hotel and the breakfast was... More

Tiny room with comfortable bed and good location. We were here for 5 nights in October. There is barely enough room to turn around, let alone store suitcases. A very small table that was covered with hotel information left no room to put items of our own. One straight chair, so sitting on the bed was our only option. Tiny... More

The Pontet is a small hotel that has been updated. The rooms were very clean and recently redecorated. My shower was so small that when I moved, I always hit the temperature control, making for an interesting shower.

The hotel is centrally located in the beautiful village of Beynac on the Dordogne river. The hotel has only two free carpark spots (we were lucky enough to claim one on both days we stayed) otherwise you have to pay for parking. Our standard room was very small with little wardrobe space and only just enough room to move around... More
