We have been going to this magnificent hotel in such a wonderful location for more than 20years. Unfortunately the standards have dropped and the refurbishment has transformed it from a hotel with a Spanish feel to a modern clinical building where the restaurant is like a noisey canteen serving in my opinion inferior badly cooked food. The cost cutting and... More

Stayed for a week in early February 2016. Weather was great and hotel buildings were good. Paid extra for a sea view, well worth while, excellent view from balcony. Room was good size, well furnished and was serviced daily. Restaurant was very good but waiters and restaurant staff have had a personality by-pass. However food was very good. Waiter service... We have stayed here 5 times ( 3 very recently ) and always had mixed reviews. If you read all the January 2016 reviews you will get a fair picture of the hotel. First of all the view is to die for, especially the sea view rooms and most of the public areas. So has the rebranding improved the hotel... More

Having checked the reviews prior to our holiday (29th Jan to 4th Feb), I was a little apprehensive, however, I could not fault this hotel and more importantly it's staff. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. They came out of the hotel to welcome us, provided a glass of wine and a relaxed and low key check... More

We arrived at the hotel with around twenty odd people from the Cruise of the Thomson Majesty. The check in was well organised by the reception staff. Our room was not ready but the wait was short. Our cases were taken up and left outside our room. This is an adults only hotel and has recently been modernised and rebranded... More

So i stayed here recently and had an amazing time! There was a lady on reception called Corina, she spoke so many languages and was such a helpful person. The food was very high standard and the scrambled eggs were superb (my favourite!) The entertainment was usually very good and i especially enjoyed the bubble clown. whenever we had a... More

I too like most read the reviews of this hotel and feared the worse . This hotel is value for money we requested a sea view but we're told before we arrived the sea view rooms come at a supplement so requesting one you won't get it unless the supplement is paid. We are in our late 40s and the... More

I am so sorry to do this but we have just returned from a horrible holiday at this hotel. Just before leaving I read the reviews about the sickness bug so I went prepared with steralizing tablets and other cleaning supplies including anti virus wipes. When we arrived we were given an awful room, very dark and overlooking horribly maintained... More

This was our 4th visit to the Hotel Los Gigantes since 2011, the last being in 2014 after the great hurricane that nearly destroyed the hotel. The hotel had been owned and operated by the Spanish ‘Stil’ hotel group, but in the last few months it has become a TUI ‘Sensimar’ hotel (meaning adults only) with a full rebranding (not... More

This is a tricky review to write as there are many things that are good and less good. Firstly the Sensimar re-branding has produced some subtle changes that are largely improvements; the public areas around reception have made better use of available space and are a little more relaxing. The lounge area is pleasing, although the sound of older guests... More
