The chateau de werde is above fantastic its in a beautiful location close to a river, so tranquil and beautiful we stayed there for 1 night whilst driving from the UK to Venice and i can fully reccomend it, when we arrived our host upgraded our room to suite!! and what a suite the bathroom was magnificent and about twice... more

This was a wonderful place to stay! I went to Alsace to do genealogy research on my family. I found this castle-turned-chateau by a stroke of luck.
