We stopped at this hotel on our way to Switzerland. It's located in France, but literally 5 mins off the German motorway to Basel. There is no border patrol. Ottmarsheim is a pretty little village, but very dead on a Friday evening. You will not find bars and restaurants here. Luckily the hotel has a restaurant just next door that offers decent food for a reasonable price. Service was friendly, rooms more than adequate, breakfast - for which you pay extra - sufficient. An ideal stop-over hotel for us. Would def come back. more
