Great little place. Needed it for 1 night as it was closest to Gran Canaria airport I could find. Taxi ride there very reasonable. Staff/owner very very nice and helpful. As I was leaving at 0615(am) they made me a lunch/breakfast for the next day. They arranged a taxi for 0615, when I came down at 0600 taxi was there.... More

Aguimes is a lovely unpretentious little town, and this hotel manages to be a quiet hideaway but right next to the historic main square. The rooms are also unprentious, but comfortable and quiet (even though the camel statues outside that give the hotel its name are quite an attraction). It is all constructed around an attractive courtyard. Breakfast is adequate,... More

We booked a room at this hotel through New Experience quite a long time ago but when we arrived we were sent to an empty stone building quite a way from the hotel. Our room at the bottom floor was not ready at 4 o'clock and when we got I we found a dark, damp and cold room where you... More

We stayed for a week in beautiful Aguimes, thankfully the last night of the 3 week(!) carnival, as the noise continues to 4-5am! The hotel lady was quite stressed from lack of sleep but very helpful & friendly. She spoke French (which we also speak) so no problems to communicate. Lovely room as shown in publicity - very large, wooden... More

If you are looking for something away from the main tourist locations, quiet, unspoilt, with character and friendly staff - then this hotel is perfect for you. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Its location close to the main square is ideal. Breakfasts consist of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes and eggs - delicious! Local... More

Charming historic hotel just off central square in aguimes old town next to lots of tapas bars with great food. Aguimes has beautiful architecture and interesting history. Hotel accommodation on a budget offers value for money especially the breakfast but you are largely paying for location. We asked for a large quiet room for one night and were allocated a... More

I chose to spend two nights in Aguïmes because it's a good starting point for walks. This hotel gets very good reviews and having had a look around the village I did get the sense this is actually as good as it gets in Aguïmes. The house is beautifully renovated and furbished to a very high standard. It stands out... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights in November 2013 having booked it as a result of positive reviews. We had room 1 on the ground floor which was rather noisy due to it being next to the reception with the street outside and other guests passing through the inner courtyard. This resulted in some late night disturbances. The... More

I stayed here with a friend recently, we were looking for a quiet comfortable location to base ourselves for exploring Gran Canaria. This hotel was perfect for us. If you want peace and quiet this is the place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good. You do need to have a car to explore as it is... More

We chose this hotel based on reviews on tripadvisor, and it was exactly as expected. You need a car since it is away from the main resorts, but we chose it to avoid the ugly coastal strip of Gran Canaria, for a walking holiday. Aguimes is a very pleasant, small town, usually quiet, and the hotel is in the old... More
