went for three days on a business meeting. really cold and foggy so no views which was a shame. the staff are awesome, nothing too much trouble even at 0200 when the firewood needed topping up. take a sledge ride, it is a dramatic bit of fun! The hotel can help you out as well.

this place is amazing, very old hotel located on the top of the rigi, you have a amazing view and such a relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately the food is somehow as expected, basic, tasteless and over priced like every touristic area....

Rigi Kulm is a really special place, you rarely have such a stunning view over so many lakes and over a large portion of the entire Alps. The staff of the hotel very friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself has a nice tradition and was very careful refurbished. You still hear the sound of the year when you walk the... More

I agree, the view was wonderful. It is worth staying at this hotel just for the various views. We could not get enough of the wonderful landscape. Of course, hiking around and seeing cows made it very special...! The rooms were small, but that was okay, for as long as the bed is comfortable, the room warm, we will be... More

It was beautiful weather yesterday and the air made us more hungry than usual. We decided to eat in the restaurant with service and enjoy the beautiful views . The service was excellent, but next time I'll stick to the cafeteria as the food was disappointing. I ordered saltimbocca with saffron risotto, what I got was over cooked grains of... More

I am not referring to the hotel (where I'ven't been), but to the food service. The hotel provides both restaurant and cafeteria (free flow). In the latter we took a main course (chicken cutlet) with side dishes. The quality was average, as was the price. So also the score allowance - understandably - is average. But don’t overlook the charm... More

Rooms are clean but a bit small, breakfast very modest. The restaurant is quite good but a bit overpriced. What makes it worth the room rate is the amazing location - at the top of mount Rigi - so you can get up early for sunrise (sunset was beautiful too).

We recently celebrated a birthday party on Rigi Kulm. We stayed in a room in the 3rd floor. I think it was 307. The experience was quite nice: Positive + newlly renovated room + nice furniture + clean + nice shower + nice dinner - was included in the birthday pary Not so good - maybe a little small but... Rigi Kulm is at the top of Rigi, you can walk up or take the railway up or down. We went up with the railway and had lunch at the top. Unless you dine in the inside restaurant there is a self service which sometimes has quite long waiting times. The food is unfortunately not very good so if you... More
