stopped here for one night heading south as we loved the look of the Swiss Chalet hotel and restaurant. Check in was at the SchlossHotel on the lake side of the road. We were given the rather posh room in the Swiss Chalet called the stork room at a much reduced rate! Customer service was excellent and we were escorted... More

We stayed here as part of a European motorbike trip for one night. What a location! Lake luzern is beautiful and this little village sits right next to it. The traditional Swiss cottage is beautiful and the internal decor has been kept in the same traditional style. The pool and sauna is at the sister hotel, hotel-schloss across the road.... More

We booked a two night stay in this hotel. It has reasonable prices comparing to insane prices of Lucerne hotels. The hotel was a really nice surprise! Arriving late just before midnight, even though the front desk is not manned at this time, our room key and a personal welcome card were placed on the desk for us. We booked... More

Very nice, clean, and unique Hotel right by the lake of lucerne! i stayed there for one night and I enjoyed, even though i am was not crazy about the room! Don't get me wrong, it's very well kept and very nice, but I am just not into the dark wood furniture and decor everywhere. We had dinner at their... More

The fact of the matter is the hotel is on the water and the view from the waters edge is spectacular. Furthermore, the hotel decor is fantastic and give the place a rich, antique feel. Minor anomalies (presumably): The room had some wine on the coffee table indicating it hadn't been wiped. The bell tower was audible from the rooms... More

Very nice place to stay the rooms are excellent like english manor decor. There is a lake to the back where you can sit and relax. There is also a farm next door. Breakfast was excellent it is in the hotel across the road. Staff are very accomodating and friendly. The hotel is quite a way out of town, there is... More

We got a lovely free upgrade from an Economy room with shared bath to a Lake-view Triple room with attached bath. The room and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. The staff was cheerful and helpful and very accommodating. There was a good breakfast spread at the restaurant across the street, but no option for made-to-order eggs / omelettes. This... More

On check in Christopher hooked us up -- got us what looked like a honeymoon suite... hot tub, fireplace --- a HUGE room with a sitting area... LOVELY... The room was in the chalet -- attached to the many banquet rooms -- yes, it did get loud, but we were TIRED, so it didnt really bother us too much. It... More

Amazing breakfast, great location, very hospitable and friendly staff. Rooms neat and clean. Lots of old world feel, which comes with very creaky stairs, floors and LOW ceilings. Restaurant downstairs filled with locals (more upscale dining). Across the street, behind the other, affiliated hotel, is a great picture point on the lake with beautiful swans. NOT much to do in... The hotel looks exactly as it does on pictures, so it was exactly as expected. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bathroom tiny. The location on the lake and the views are priceless. I would come back just to have an opportunity to spend some more time in the private gardens of the hotel. View is... More
