First to be aware of, this hotel is not in 1 bulding, and offeres different kind of accomodations from basic, to luxurious. We have stayed in Hotel Jagd Schloss, which is located on a small hill (short but steep walk up) across the road from the main bulding. Check in was confusing, as our room was already assigned as checked... More

Very friendly staff Great location Lots of amenities Unique indoor pool Nice restaurant Small boats for rent Average rooms No need for an alarm clock, if the people upstairs are moving around, you'll be awake. Quiet area but still convenient to Lucerne.

if you have been good in art in your school, then this is actually you may have drawn in your painting. Schloss Hotel Swiss Chalet is located in a scenic village of Merlischachen, surrounded by mountains and lake in the back yard(with a small kayak if you wish). The hotel is made in old war time building with history restored... More

Hotel Swiss Chalet in Merlischachen lies between Zuger Lake and Lake Lucerne on the Nationalstrasse 2. The Hotel offers several buildings within walking distance, all invite with an appealing atmosphere in the country house style. In typical Swiss tradition is the old Restaurant-Chalet direct on the road which offers breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Hunting Lodge - Château Golden Gate... More

If you are happy staying outside Luzern itself, then this hotel offers great value family accommodation for the area. I had researched hotels for a long time prior to this trip - looking for a family room or interconnecting rooms in Luzern itself. Family rooms are few and far between (unless you want lavish suites at an eye-popping price). Interconnecting... More

I've stayed at the hotel twice, and have eaten at it's roadside restaurant at least a handful of times over the past 8 years. The hospitality is very welcoming, the place has a unique chalet character, and the staff is very professional with a keen eye for good service. The Beef Liver & Rosti main course dish is fantastic; bon... More

The only reason I booked this hotel was because of its park which is close to Lake Lucerne. However, I was totally unprepared to come to an old rustic type of hotel, which gave the aura of a rather 3 star place. I would have understood if they wanted to give it a traditional old look but it even stank... More

stopped here for one night heading south as we loved the look of the Swiss Chalet hotel and restaurant. Check in was at the SchlossHotel on the lake side of the road. We were given the rather posh room in the Swiss Chalet called the stork room at a much reduced rate! Customer service was excellent and we were escorted... More

We stayed here as part of a European motorbike trip for one night. What a location! Lake luzern is beautiful and this little village sits right next to it. The traditional Swiss cottage is beautiful and the internal decor has been kept in the same traditional style. The pool and sauna is at the sister hotel, hotel-schloss across the road.... More

We booked a two night stay in this hotel. It has reasonable prices comparing to insane prices of Lucerne hotels. The hotel was a really nice surprise! Arriving late just before midnight, even though the front desk is not manned at this time, our room key and a personal welcome card were placed on the desk for us. We booked... More
