This hotel is lovely, with one of the nicest rooms I stayed in during my trip to Spain. The shower is incredibly wonderful! The room is quite large, with a nice desk. The food was good, and they generously supplied breakfast starting at 6 AM so those of us ready to push on to Santiago early were able to do... More

The hotel was booked by CaminoWays agency during our Camino to Santiago. The Amenal hotel turned out to be the best of all the hotels before Santiago! Excellent service, nice and clean and modern hotel with good food. Everything you need...

Stayed one night while doing Camino. Rooms nice and large. No a/c and the day was quite warm so room stayed hot for quite a while. Had to leave window open but then you heard traffic noise. Tea ok breakfast the usual but quite busy as they open early and get a lot of early pilgrims on the way thru.... More

Stayed here on the last night of my Camino before heading to Santiago. It was a very welcome sight after a day's walking and the reception received was fine. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The restaurant was pleasant and the recommended set menu was good, but not spectacular. Good night's sleep, the accommodation is... Great place to stay at end of a day's walking. And they had a laundry we could use. Very good hosts. Room was neat clean and tidy. Dinner in restaurant was very good also. Only problem was the place is a bit isolated. (we stayed in April 2013 while doing Camino but I forgot to do review till now! oops)

This is a good place to stay for your final launch pad if you want to be in Santiago in time for the noon mass. It's right on the Camino. Service is a little bit Spanish (if you know what I mean), but the buildings have character and the rooms are spacious and reasonably well appointed. Wifi works well in... More

The rooms are lovely. Bright, clean with good bathrooms. Wifi does not work in the hotel rooms, which was a pain. There is no 24 hour reception in the hotel (they are in the restaurant). Our key stopped working, and we had to wait 30 minutes to get help to be let in the room, which delayed us going to... More

Great location right next to the Comino Trail can't get lost. THE PATIO WAS JUST THE PLACE TO SPEND THE LATE AFTERNOON. The staff when we arrived directed us to the toilets and when we returned we had a reserved table waiting for us and a cold beer. Our room was first class and dinner was great. Breakfast was served... More

The Hotel Amenal was our last stop on the Camino Francés and it is perfectly located right on the Camino. The bedrooms are clean and well appointed and the café/restaurant is very good. The staff are very friendly, speak good English and I find it difficult to fault this hotel for price. Whilst the café was busy during the afternoon... More

Stayed here as 14km walk next morning into Santiago. No one at reception but bar staff promptly checked us in. Rooms in separate building to restaurant and bar. Clean room, basic but adequate. Comfortable bed and very quiet at night so slept well. Food is very good and very reasonably priced. Staff at dinner and breakfast friendly and helpful.
