Great location right next to the Comino Trail can't get lost. THE PATIO WAS JUST THE PLACE TO SPEND THE LATE AFTERNOON. The staff when we arrived directed us to the toilets and when we returned we had a reserved table waiting for us and a cold beer. Our room was first class and dinner was great. Breakfast was served... More

The Hotel Amenal was our last stop on the Camino Francés and it is perfectly located right on the Camino. The bedrooms are clean and well appointed and the café/restaurant is very good. The staff are very friendly, speak good English and I find it difficult to fault this hotel for price. Whilst the café was busy during the afternoon... More

Stayed here as 14km walk next morning into Santiago. No one at reception but bar staff promptly checked us in. Rooms in separate building to restaurant and bar. Clean room, basic but adequate. Comfortable bed and very quiet at night so slept well. Food is very good and very reasonably priced. Staff at dinner and breakfast friendly and helpful.

This was a very well run and welcoming hotel. It was by far the best that we stayed in on our Camino trip. The food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and it is immaculately clean. It deserves to do very well. The bar and restaurant are by far the most professional that we have seen. I would thoroughly... More

This hotel was a welcomed surprise at the end of a long day walking. Very modern, large room. Pity no one at reception but the barman helped us check in. Restaurant had nice menu & seemed good value. Staff were helpful & friendly. I would recommend this hotel

The bedrooms are nicely furnished with the addition of a table and chairs. The bathroom was a decent size and modern and everything was spotlessly clean. The only let down was the shower. The water changes temperature from hot to cold every ten seconds which meant having to waste a lot of water waiting for the hot to return. I... More

We decided to stop here while walking the Camino de Santiago as it is a short walk to Santiago. We did not expect anything in particular but we were very pleasantly surprised. Nice sunny terrace, room and bathroom very clean, comfortable beds, washing / drying facilities in the basement. And the restaurant! What a treat for slightly more than the... More

This is our last stop before reaching Santiago de Compostela, which is 14 km away. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed since Sarria, this is the best. Not only becauae of the facilities (it has a washing machine and a dryer in the basement!) but also for tge friendliest staff ever. The check in was a bit slow because... More

In short: bad service and overpriced. we came in after a long day of wallking the kamino. Upon entering the room we discovered the heating was not working. Despite numerous alerts, the problem was finally fixed at midnight with the central heating closing not long after that. There was no hot water in the shower. The staff seemes short handed... More

After staying in hostels and albergues for five weeks, we decided to splurge. The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious, and the food was reasonably priced and good. After carrying everything we own on our back since leaving the USA on August 1, it was wonderful to know that we only had 15 km to go to reach Santiago. The... More
