This is a budget hotel located in a motorway truck park. The motorway being a paid motorway, making access a real pain, and also making journeys to Barcelona or other nearby areas a chore of making long detours to get onto the right side of the motorway. Apparently it is possible to access the hotel from a nearby village, but... More

We chose this hotel as we were in Barcelona on business and did not need access to the central tourist areas... So this seemed like a good option. It was not. Whilst the hotel itself is perfectly ok in decor and cleanliness for a budget option, with polite staff etc, the location is impossible. To get anywhere involves toll roads... More

We arrived late at night into BCN airport and knew we would need a hotel close to the motorway on our way to Andorra, we had booked the Porta de Barcelona for convenience, however if you come along the A2 motorway looking for Castellbisbal, be very aware that this is difficult to find especially at night. It is off a... More

the hotel was nice! However it was in the middle of no where!!!! unless you are a lorry driver looking for a pit stop rest this is not the location to be. The staff was nice and friendly , but unfortunatly the location was terrible

The hotel is clean and modern and there are no major problems with the on-site facilities. The transport links are far from ideal for tourists due to the fact that the hotel is intended for use as a layover/pit-stop for long distance lorries and travellers as it is connected to the service and petrol station via a bridge across the... We stopped off over night at this hotel in July 2011, the male receptionist was very helpful and the room was spotlessly clean, there was secure parking too. I would definately stay again

The hotel is completly isolated, every time you want go to some place you should take the highgway (and pay). Internet conexión was not working in the whole hotel and the rooms were noisy. I was shocked!

The hotel facilities were very pleasurable, but what you didn't got to know until you were there was that the hotel is situated next to the highway. And if you would like to take a taxi, you must pay twice as much because the driver must follow the road for at least 10 km (!) before it can get onto... More
