A great hotel in an excellent position just outside the small village of El Rompido and a perfect chill out location. Good food, attentive staff, lovely rooms and an amazing pool complex. more

Great hotel in very nice location in the Huelva region of Spain. This is a relatively new resort and as a result does not attract many guests from the UK. To me this is a huge selling point! Most guests are Spanish and obviously this impacts on the overall holiday. If you want to be surrounded by British people, then... more

We stayed here at the beginning of May and as we'd never been before were pleasantly suprised. The hotel was very clean, lovely indoor & outdoor, pools, friendly staff and excellent breakfast offering loads of choice. Guests were mainly German & Spanish but, there were a few other English people staying. El Rompido village is very quiet and has a... more

We booked this holiday early last year as there were some great rates to be had. What we thought we had paid for, upon arrival had all changed. The all-inclusive is very poor. We were told when we booked that food was available pretty much all the time and that the kids could help themselves to drinks and burgers etc.... more

We stayed in Feb 2008 - the idea was to get some winter sun and relax. How wrong were we. Priced at the top end for a holiday in this country, the hotel room was dissapointing, pool lovely, gym dissapointing and the kids club was awful. Very little supervision at all. Very slow bar service and the food was very... more

This is a lovely hotel in a very quite spanish area. We were at the resort for two weeks, we did not come across any other english families or couples, the guests were around 90% spanish. The food was good, a little repetitive, staff were helpful and friendly. The major let down was the local golf. I found the courses... more

A really good hotel situated in a great spot, just a few minutes walk from the village. Terrific buffet dinner with something for everyone. We stayed here as a base for the Andalusian region. A short hop into Seville. This is a quiet corner of Spain that is unspoilt and natural....so shhh don't tell anyone! more

We try to avoid visiting the types of resort that seem to attract the stereotypical Brits abroad wanting pie-and-chips for dinner. So, El Rompido certainly fitted the bill for a quiet, relaxing holiday - it's a very small fishing village where the majority of visitors tend to be Spanish or German. The nearest airport to the hotel is actually in... more

Fantastic hotel - not much english spoken but that was good. Real Spanish hotel, with mainly spanish guests. Good food, great location and facilities - good for kids of all ages as lots to do during day all included in price of accommodation. Accommodation good (beds a little hard!). Really peaceful! If you want clubs, english breakfasts, fish and chips... more
