A lovely lovely restored Galician country house, perfectly done up for a luxury final stop on the Camino, with charming staff and good food. Excellently priced: obviously more expensive than the cheap pensiones and grotty hostels most will have stayed at along the route, but still very good value and far from budget-blowing for the discerning/professional traveller. If you were... More

We actually didn't pick this place and were "upgraded" here due to a few mix up with the guys who booked our Camino for us. It was definitely a lovely place to stay with great staff. A wonderful feed but because it was so far away from everything and we were tired - we stayed at the hotel to eat... More

Simply an amazing place to stay while journeying on the Camino Frances or Camino Norte/Primativo. Reasonable prices for hotel and restaurant, and some of the cleanest rooms we've yet seen on the Camino. Treat yourself to a simple and peaceful alternative to the albergue - a 9.5.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels in which I have ever stayed. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Dinner was very tasty, with a great wine selection. They also have a wonderful masseuse.

Pazo Santa Maria is a haven for those of us who walked The Camino de Santiago! Real luxury after the budget hotels on previous days. Just out of the town, it's like a little hamlet in the countryside. Wonderful views of the surrounding area. Exceptional accomodation and great food. Rather more expensive than other places but what a treat. All... More

because in my case, they couldn't do a thing for us. I was part of a high-end luxury tour. When we arrived I heard the woman say to our guide "what are you doing here?" Turns out they had double booked. Later I saw my guide's two emails confirming our stay (and the manager's response to one of the emails).... More

This is an attractive adaptation of a farm/manor and outbuildings. We stayed for one night whilst walking the Camino. On arrival there was nobody about but eventually a very nice young lady appeared and showed us to our rooms. Our room was very dark and extremely cold.....although well enough equipped in other ways. Unfortunately the soundproofing between rooms is quite... More

We had walked 28km on this day as our Camino journey continued. To say we were foot sore & weary would be an understatement 😮 This beautiful hotel is nestled just outside Arzua so as part of the service they send a taxi to pick you up 👍🏻 The hotel is just gorgeous offering its guests individual bungalows which are... This is a tastefully restored manor house, spacious, modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our dinner was Galician gourmet. The breakfast was ample and Delicious. The value is incredible. It is a bit off the trail- took us 45 mins to walk from town, although we could have called for a ride. Being away from town is... More

Stayed one night while walking Camino. Booked here by travel agent and did wonder at the time why as it is a bit if a hike off the Camino and out of town. Very nice girl on reception who was most helpful. Room nice and large and bathroom had a bath. Nice country views around as nothing else. Dinner was... More
