We stayed one night on our Camino in March of 2015. It had been raining and our boots were soaked. Every wish was taken care of by the manager. Boots dried, clothes washed and delivered right after dinner, cozy room and attentive staff. First eggs that we had for breakfast along the entire Camino and I almost had a tear... More

We stayed here just one night on our Camino, July 2015. The rooms were comfortable and very charming. The staff was small and very busy yet they went out of their way to help us relax and enjoy our stay. If I come back to explore Galicia another summer I will stay here. Dinner was delicious. They could expand their... More

We stayed her while doing a custom walk on the Camino with Marly tours. the inn was not really walking to town, but was very nice atmosphere with gardens, living areas and a main dining room. It was worth upgrade for larger room with sitting areas, but all rooms were charming and spacious by European standards. Dinner and breakfast was... More

The grounds of this hotel were beautiful. They had a very nice area to have an afternoon drink and dinner was quite good as was breakfast. So why not five stars? We sent some clothes for laundry in the afternoon and were told they would be returned in a couple of hours. We never received the laundry that night and... More

I spent one night here and it was an oasis of comfort and tranquility after a long, hot day on the Camino. Friendly staff, nice restaurant, beautiful gardens and well appointed rooms, it was heaven. It's about three km outside town but the Tourist Information office will order a taxi, which costs €4.

A lovely lovely restored Galician country house, perfectly done up for a luxury final stop on the Camino, with charming staff and good food. Excellently priced: obviously more expensive than the cheap pensiones and grotty hostels most will have stayed at along the route, but still very good value and far from budget-blowing for the discerning/professional traveller. If you were... More

We actually didn't pick this place and were "upgraded" here due to a few mix up with the guys who booked our Camino for us. It was definitely a lovely place to stay with great staff. A wonderful feed but because it was so far away from everything and we were tired - we stayed at the hotel to eat... More

Simply an amazing place to stay while journeying on the Camino Frances or Camino Norte/Primativo. Reasonable prices for hotel and restaurant, and some of the cleanest rooms we've yet seen on the Camino. Treat yourself to a simple and peaceful alternative to the albergue - a 9.5.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels in which I have ever stayed. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Dinner was very tasty, with a great wine selection. They also have a wonderful masseuse.

Pazo Santa Maria is a haven for those of us who walked The Camino de Santiago! Real luxury after the budget hotels on previous days. Just out of the town, it's like a little hamlet in the countryside. Wonderful views of the surrounding area. Exceptional accomodation and great food. Rather more expensive than other places but what a treat. All... More
