My husband and I decided to choose Hotel Can Misse in Collbato as our base for our visit to Montserrat. We are so glad we did -- it was a lovely lodging in a most delightful town! Tiny, narrow lanes and a town "gate" that allows mere inches of clearance for the car, added to the fun. We had no... More

We stayed here for two nights in September and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's ambience and it's qualities. After driving around Collbato for a while we eventually found our way to the car park at the rear of the hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the charming hosts and shown to a delightful room overlooking the mountains. We arrived... More

We chose Can Misse because we wanted a hotel with an easy journey to Barcelona by commuter rail. We also chose Can Misse because of its great Tripadvisor rating. We stayed four nights. This small hotel deserves its rating. Its primary assets are its staff. They gave great service and genuinely tried to make our stay as conformable as possible.... More

We stayed at Can Missé one night. We drove from Madrid, stayed the night, and drove to Montserrat early the next day. The hotel's location is perfect for visiting Montserrat before the crowds arrive. We literally had the Monastery to ourselves at 9 am. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the town of Collbató - very quaint and not touristy... More

We spent four nights in a pleasant, spacious room on the top (2nd) floor of this sweet hotel. The owners couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the village delightful. We'd intended to stay two days but had a hard time leaving. It is about 18km from the Monastery of Monserrat along a winding road... More

A friend and I recently stayed two nights at the Can Misse. We booked reasonably priced single rooms that were actually double rooms, so we had large beds. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and reasonably sized. The second floor (1st floor in Europe) had 3 rooms and a large public room that we used to sit in. The restaurant... More

Hotel has good food and best of all is located in a pleasant village about 6 km up the hill from the cable car for Montserrat). Hikers who plan ahead could catch the cable car to the monastery in the morning and hike their way down to Collbato in the late afternoon.

Off the major tourist spots radar, this quaint family owned hotel delivered huge rooms and A + service for a reasonable price. Our room had high vaulted ceilings and a street view. Minutes away from hiking routes to Montserrat. There is a great bar restaurant downstairs. Adequate English was spoken. A little hard to find but once you do you... More

We only stopped in for a night but would love to have stayed longer once we saw the place. With Montserrat as a backdrop, we couldn't have hoped for a more picturesque place in a charming small town. The accommodation was exceptional and must have been recently done. The whole place, including the bar/restaurant was run by a family -... More

Really, this hotel was off the map - google didn't have it's address. There are two streets with Amanadu Vives in their name in this town, and we had directions to the other location. So despite having some trouble finding it, it was a fantastic experience. It was cozy, charming. They opened our wine for us and we drank it... More
