I found this hotel on google maps, just looking along the route I planned, around the time I wanted to stop for that day. The hotel gets a lot of big groups, busloads. But since the hotel is ENORMOUS, they are not disturbing you. Only at breakfast. Poor lady who had to cater alone for two busloads... Luckily they were... More

We spent a week at this hotel as a base for a walking holiday in the Gredos mountains and were very satisfied with the hotel and the service we received. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our regular waiter in the evening was fantastic. He was very cheerful, friendly, helpful and hardworking and, although we had little language in... More

Be ware large groups stay here, but it did not cause me any trouble. Diner at € 12,50 (?) is three course choice, including glass of wine snd water. Great local dishes. Soup with judias beans and chirico sauces, lamb from the oven and rice pudding.. Room is large, excellent airco. Terrace is a one meter ledge... Vere clean and... More

There was a funny smell of rotten garbage in the foyer. The room was poorly maintained, worn out. Staff seemed uninterested. The bar/cafe/lounge/terrace was always closed - no service. The whole experience left me thinking 'where is the love'?!

This was the most expensive hotel in our trip from UK to Algarve , and I had even upgraded to a room with a terrace for an extra €10. It was very busy late Saturday afternoon, as there appeared to be some meetings and lunch parties. The room was large and positioned at the far end of a long corridor... More

this hotel could have be good if they cared about facilities. they could have given us a view city but choose give a view of the road. Internet doesn't connect inside room (not bad outside room) and TV doesn't change language or have cable. dinner was strange the entrees was some horrible mixed cheap seafood dish with small onions and... Stood in this hotel for 4 nights to ski in lá covatilla. It's a 20 minutes driving. For a 4* hotel i think the breakfast should be better. Other then that, it was just perfect. WiFi free in the rooms, good rooms, friendly staff and the hotel is surrounded by the lovely village of "barco de Ávila" , tgat i... More

The day before the start of Madrid Lisboa by mtb I checked in here. The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Madrid, clean and the room was ok. The price is reasonable for what they offer and nearby there are some good restaurants and cosy cafe`s.

We stayed in this hotel for a week whilst on an activity break in the region. Firstly the hotel is excellent value (booked online through a booking site). We paid E41 for a double room with breakfast. The location is good - adjacent to the main road, but with excellent views. There isoff street parking and wifi at no cost.... More

I stayed in the hotel (also called Real Barco) 4 nights, as I was skyin in the nearby Sierra de Béjar. The hotel is very confortable, clean and the rooms are excellent. Workers were very nice and willing to help. I had a half board food plan and I thought the food was overprocessed and not that good. Otherwise, breakfast... More
