Paid £109 for one nite, should have been a lot less. Room - tiny, can't believe how small. Bed - uncomfortable (not what you want for a good night's sleep). Boiler gas flue (exhaust) from the kitchen below came through our room, however it was not correctly fitted and would not pass gas safe checks. Milk in the room was... More

A great place, family friendly, the food was great, ambience welcoming, and the service from Lee, Chris and the others was faultless. The deserts were especially delightful, as were the beers, a good selection, locally sourced, all at good value. We will be coming back soon.

This hotel was originally booked, due to excellent reviews; perhaps this was its first downfall- the expectations we had, far outweighed the hotels delivery. The negatives are strong ones, which include; an uncomfortably hard bed, lack of natural good customer service and an over bleached bathroom. To delve deeper, the bed was so hard that myself and my partner were... More

Arrived friday night and was greated by a nice young man who helped us book in and show us to our room. We were in room 7, spacious enough with a comfy sofa, nice size bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking and lovely oytside seating area.

Went here for a quick lunch today. Food was lush buy what made it was Chris. He served us start to finish and he's customer service is second to none. What a nice guy. Friendly, chilled and on top of things. We would come back just for him. Give that boy a promotion/raise. A credit to your team :)

A very lovely old hotel, in modern style. A pittoresk place in a small but lovely village. All floors are uneven, small bathrooms, but so romantic and well kept. Modern bathroom, friendly staff, good breakfast and diner.

We had dinner at the Bull last week and I was hugely impressed by the quality of the food. This is close to Michelin starred quality with great attention to detail, the flavour packed into the sauces was excellent. My smoked salmon starter (hand smoked on the premises) was delicate and full of flavour accompanied by an excellent crab cake... More

Our recent experience of this attractive, historic inn was sadly disappointing, but admittedly we didn't dine there, so can only comment upon it as a bed and breakfast venue. The accommodation, unlike I suspect, the food, was poor. It was also poorly maintained. Our 'superior' room had the tiniest shower/wc en-suite, in which the over-sink mirror was cracked and the... This place is such a refreshing change from the chain type hotels many people choose to stay in... the old building has such character with its uneven polished floors and walls, a blend of old and new give it a a warm character and antique feel and the modern bathroom was very clean and practical. Like many of the places... More

I stayed here on my trip through the UK to be closish to bluewater & to get back to the tunnel. I found this for its convenient location and away from the madding crowd. Lovely pub with nice interiors. The room was large and spotless. Four poster bed, highly polished wood floors and good bathroom. Mattress a little lumpy, hey... More
