I stayed at La Grange for 2 nights in September with a group of women. We went to Viscos to hike the Pyrenees. The hotel was so charming, quaint and perfect base for our hikes. The restaurant was fabulous.

We had a great experience at this really nice, unpretentious family-run smallish hotel. You definitely need a car to get here and to truly appreciate all the area has to offer. Its located in a remote village (hamlet?) and there is not really anything to do in "town" at night. Walking around during the day is awesome. We spent a... More

We loved this hotel and were genuinely sad to leave, such a shame we did not book a longer stay! We will however definately go back another time. The setting is magnificent, such a pretty village and the flowers around the hotel are stunning: good start!! The owner had gone to some trouble to find us a suitable room in... More

The town of Viscos is a real jewel of a village, and this auberge is the perfect place to visit it, and relax. Our room #5, while small, has a fantastic view of the mountains! It is quiet, clean, no fridge, and located across from the main building; so you have to go outside to go to the Auberge's restaurant.... More

A real little gem of a hotel in the mountains of a small village called Viscos. Very peaceful setting, fabulous views of the mountains, loads of lovely walks around the hotel. The staff are very friendly, rooms are very clean and the pool has lovely views across the mountains. Dinner was delicious and although no vegetarian meals were shown on... More

Last week we stayed in "Grange aux Marmottes" with a group of 25 persons to climb Tourmalet and other mountains by bike. The reception and accomodation were excellent. The hotel is ideally and located.

Cosy rooms in a very charming stone hotel in a tiny village with no more the 10 houses! Lots to do in the area. Many places to hike. The hotel provided many recommendation for activities. Don't follow the GPS to go to this hotel as that took us to the ski resort 2 km on the other side of the... More

We chose this hotel for a one night stay because the road below it was a good place to watch Le Tour de France. It was a in a beautiful small village, about 5 minutes drive up the mountain. We arrived early (the road closed at 11.00 for Le Tour) and we were given coffees while they made up our... More

We stayed in Viscos for 3 nights in early June. Atmosphere, service, meals were all excellent. I guess we were early in the season as we did not have to park down the hill as others have mentioned. I don't think this would be a big deal anyway unless you have a severe mobility problem. You can unload and load... More

Loved this inn and teeny tiny town perched on the side of a mountain. The inn evokes a cozy ski lodge with excellent views from outside of the valley. Our group rented two rooms, one rather small with a private little porch. The other room, was very large and very comfortable for three people. We ended paying half board and... More
