Stayed here for one night as a belated birthday treat. Really friendly Manager and staff , soon on first name terms. Had a quick drink in the bar on arrival , from a great choice of ales and wines. Recently booked a table for a meal with our friends, Very friendly and helpful staff and good menu choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service and quality of food were all excellent. We will certainly be visiting for another night out in the future.

Recently took friends here for lunch on a Saturday. Food was excellent, the menu so unusual and interesting we struggled to choose. Portions very substantial so we didn't have room for pud. May pass on the starter next time! Friendly professional service. We are going back this weekend.

Have to say having been here a couple of times before I was disappointed with our latest visit. We were a party of 14 and were put on 2 tables which was surprising.
