We stayed there for an overnight while travelling through germany. The reception was quite quick and we went straight in the room. The room was quite clean and the bathroom too. The bed, instead was extremely soft and the pillow has some weird soft/hard balls inside which were not confortable at all. Breakfast was included in the booking (and not... More

Stayed one night here. It was comfortable and spacious - although the rooms are extremely dated. Dark wood everywhere (80s). But the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Great location near the autobahn. Not too noisy but - hey - this is a budget price. For value - it was fine.

on my way back home from France i choose this hotel, close to the highway instead of using the ones downtown Augsburg at double price... the rooms were big and clean, despite they were old fashion. we were there around 22.30 local time and there was only some old man which really tested my little German language knowledge.. breakfast was... We choosed this hotel for one night stay, according to our car-GPS it had a convenient location. The girl at the reception was very kind and helpful and spoke quite good English. Good price. The room was really big, old-fashioned and as clean as possible. But incredibly dark, I couldn´t read when I sat on the couch. I wonder if... More

I had the lack of foresight to look for hotels in Augsburg during Oktoberfest. It should not have surprised me that less-than-luxurious hotels well removed from downtown Augsburg were all that were available to me. I was welcomed by an enthusiastic, English-speaking receptionist, which I appreciated after a long slog from Munich (and its Oktoberfest crowd) via public transportation to... More

Hotel is very near to the highway. There’s a bus stop at the hotel, easy to visit Augsburg. Rooms are big and comfortable, bathroom is excellent. Decent breakfast, very friendly staff, specially at the front desk, very helpful in explaining how to reach the city. I would like to recommend the hotel as an overnight stop when travelling to Italy,... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel one night as part of a long road trip - we chose it due to it's location just off the German Autobahn. As a one-night 'flop house' the Via Claudia is fine - the beds were clean, breakfast ample, and the wifi free. The staff were friendly and the front desk attendant... More

So, traveling through Germany, no reservations, non German speaking tourist, and we found this place. It's highly unlikely I'll ever be here again, so, let's be honest. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It's a little out of the way to consider walking to restaurants, but, not too bad. There is a lack of choices within walking distance. We... More

For a week's training at an Augsburg business, my work booked this hotel. At 41 euros a night, it's the cheapest hotel I've ever stayed in, but also the worst. The hotel is far away from everything (10 minutes by taxi to Augsburg centre). There's no bar and no restaurant, only for breakfast (which is very much o.k., by the... More

This hotel was fine for just a one-night stop to another destination. The bed was comfortable enough and the room extremely spacious. It is definitely more of a business-class hotel. The breakfast was adequate--a buffet--which is usually more than most European hotels offer. It was clean and the parking was very convenient.
