we booked for 5 nights. we arrived at sunday /motherday and the manager already made a tablereservation because of the expecting other reservations,free for us to accept and so we did.

I stayed here for 4 nights with some colleagues from work. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have good food and also free WiFi. The only downside is that they have a VERY limited number of english speaking channels (3).

We happened upon this excellent establishment thanks to a late start on our first day of vacation; there really isn't a lot to do in this peaceful town so the stay is very peaceful and quiet; we would come back in a heartbeat for a romantic week-end get-away.
The lovely historic town on Gengenbach is only a couple of kilometers...

The warm and very genuine welcome bybthe owner was the start to perhaps the best stay we have had in travelling around Europe for the last six weeks. The rooms are spacious, really very big. Bathroom is great and the shower is a welcome change from the European habit of trying to build the smallest shower cubicles in the known...
