because of the very simple, uncomfortable furniture and camp like amenities. The rooms were very large but the rooms and hotel are in great need of updating. My family and I just returned from a 17 day trip to Switzerland. This hotel was the fourth hotel we stayed in for three nights. Good hotel for the family. Great daycare for kids. Staff is friendly. Old hotel circa 60s and it shows. Good family get away if you are not looking for high end. more

We just checked in to this place today. We are staying in a two bedroom suite and the first thing I noticed when we walked into our room were the massive carpet stains. The bathrooms are done in pink with gold eagle(I think) finishes...circa 1960's..Also I noticed a hole in my bedsheet... We ate at the restaurant. Expensive but good.... more

The Hotel Lago Di Lugano is a modern 4 Star hotel located right on the Lake Lugano. Though it comes under Bissone, it is actually at the border of the town Campione.
