This is a Boutique hotel. Great view from the hotel, no iron in room, no wash cloths here. You must bring disposable wash cloths for us at this hotel, no coffee pot, no ice bucket, FREE wi-fi, single beds pushed together, hardwood floors noted, no kleenex in room. Beds were very comfortable, no clock in room, FREE room safe. Delicious... More

Lario Hotel (at Mezzegra) Our Cosmos tour group stayed at this 3 star hotel in early September 2014. As many other reviewers mentioned, it is located on a very busy road with no sidewalks or bike lanes. I would not stay at this hotel with children. Too dangerous. Rooms vary in size; mine was small and there wasn’t room for... More

Hotel Lario in Tremezzo is a small friendly hotel, excellent value, staff wonderful, very clean, lovely outdoor pool, limited menu and food was very good, good Italian wines, we will go back. We did not book this - we ere downloaded for two days from another expensive hotel that had overbooked - the Lario was better value.

I had a terrible room, very disappointing since the area is so beautiful and charming. I was in a large party arriving by coach, very tired and looking forward to a restful stay. Instead, I had a noisy room above the kitchen, with a view of the venting system. The room was tiny, thin plastic disposable cup in the bathroom... More

We arrived as part of a car tour and stayed for 5 nights. This hotel seems to cater for large parties and sees coachloads arrive and depart each day but for all that it was a pelasant enough stay. Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful (one expection bing one of the recption staff who seems to have issues... More

Third rate hotel and not three star as advertised…. Regarding hotel interior and rooms. Has a good view over Lake Como if you have a lake view room but thats where it ends. Road is busy that runs in front of hotel, so take your life in your hands if you want to walk along road to lake, as no... More

This a good hotel in one one of the truly great scenic places on the planet... Lake Como. I was on a tour and whilst most of my touring companions got a lake view room with balcony I did not. I have no issue with this - someone had to miss out. I think anyone with the lake view room... More

The view from our third floor street facing balcony was excellent. The room quality and facilities were all very good. The bed was too firm for us, but others we visited with didn't have too much of an issue in that regard. Service and food were both well above par. Would definitely stay again

I stayed in Lario Hotel for a total of eight weeks in the last months due to a working project I had in a company located not far from it, so I had the opportunity to enjoy almost all the facilities this hotel can offer to guests. the hotel is clean, nice, tidy and located in a good position, at... Stayed here 2 nights as part of a Cosmos tour. Rooms are large, views stunning but it ends there. Beds are not very comfortable, food is awful. Asked at reception for a cup of hot water with some honey and lemon ( honey was on the breakfast table) and was charged €1.50 for the privilege .( My husband and I... More
