We had a great stay at Antica Fornace. Lucia is great!!! She is really trying for every guest to feel like part of her family. Apartment and the whole place is just perfect :) Breakfast is delicious. Looking forward to come back soon :)

We spent one week at Antica Fornace and it was fabulous. Lucia welcomed us like if we were part of her family : always a friendly word about our children, lots of advices regarding what to visit around, etc. The residence was so nice, so quiet, and very well maintained : the view from our room was beautiful, as the building... This was a disappointing experience, with facilities that turned out to be very different from what was advertised on the website. The farm is in fact a modern purpose built holiday rental located deep in the countryside - minimum 25 min drive on very winding rural roads from any supermarket and the nearest restaurant. Not a problem if it were... More

Thank you for writing 2 times the same review and for giving wrong information. Fortunately we read the opposite in all the other reviews. The roads are not horrible, they are all paved and normal, beautiful as a postcard Tuscan !!! Thank you. More

Yes this is a beautiful location and Lucia is very friendly but we have just returned from two weeks at L'Antica Fornace and if you want rural Tuscany, then this is for you. But, the website promised 'every morning a great breakfast of regional typical products of Tuscany is served in the restaurant of the farmhouse' - not true, the... More

Any suggestion for improvement is welcome. The Tuscan is made of beautiful streets in the country, and we are immersed in this, we think it is not against us... always try to do everything possible .. but since the family atmosphere, just in case there is something missing in the kitchen because maybe another family absently broke it or took... I stayed with my family at L'antica Fornace last week for 5 days. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Luccia was very helpful and recommended restaurants and local sights for us as well as suggesting walking routes through the countryside. We actually saw deer walking through the vineyard. What truly makes this place so amazing is the setting; it really... More

My husband I am just returned to the US after staying a week at Antica Fornace and it was a truly an unforgettable experience. We utilized Antica Fornace as our home base as we traveled to Rome and Florence during the course of our vacation. We agreed that returning to the serene beauty of Antica Fornace in the evenings was... More

Everyone knows that Tuscany is beautiful but you never know how, before you see it! La Antica Fornace is perfectly situated so you see a stunning view from every window. Besides you see that the owners put their soul in the design of every detail of the interiors and the garden, so that everything gives joy to the eye! La... More

This agriturismo is a beauty. Host Lucia makes sure you feel yourself welcome from arrival till you leave. Within less than one hour drive, you can visit a lot of Toscany cities. Our apartment (Fornace) was clean and spacious. Special note on the beds, these are very good. Outside you can enjoy a beautiful view on the hills and the... More

At the suggestion of a friend we went Agriturismo-style for our family trip to Tuscany and were lucky enough to book a room at L'Antica Fornace. Our self-contained room/apartment was spacious and surprisingly cool given the hot weather - we didn't use the optional air-con once and my wife would do if it was even in the ball park of... More

Tucked in the countryside is a great little retreat. Luccia welcomed us (even though I was a tad late because I under estimated the driving conditions). The apartment was awesome, being in the country was so relaxing after driving during the day (that's an adventure in it's self). A pre- breakfast swim looking out over the valley was a great...
