Let me begin by saying that I frequently visit Margarita for vacations with my family and boyfriend. I have stayed at Laguna Mar and Portofino, two very lovely resorts with friendly staff. Just recently, my boyfriend and I decided to try Dunes - what a horrible mistake! The people, both workers and guests were unfriendly towards us. I even had... More

This hotel is huge. It has many swiming pools, restaurants, beach, beach bar and they made many animation program for children and adults all day long. The food was good, personal was good and I love the beach with the lighthouse on the hill next to the hotel.

This was much more than a snack bar, there Was a buffet and the kids had burger and fries. The staff was very friendly. The whole... More

I recommend this Hotel to anyone that is interested in visiting Margarita. The food is good, the hotel is clean and the surrounding are beautiful especially the beach. Most people are friendly and helpful. A nice hotel to have a relaxing vacation.

I would like to say that 10 of us stayed at this hotel and we had 3 rooms in building 35. Room 35212 definitely has a female ghost. I would make it short as I do not want to go into details. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Very disgusting. Everything is so dirty and very... More

We first stayed here 10 years ago and had a great holiday, we still had a good holiday but the rooms have definately worn and need a spruce up to bring it back to its former days, however, I wouldn't recommend spending too much time in your room because the sun, sea and sand is what it is all about.... A little late on this one...... First off I loved it there. The hotel is what you make of it. Its definately run down and by far not the nicest place I have stayed. Beach is nice but not the crystal blue water you would be used to in varadero or cancun. Food was not great but there was always... More
