I went to their restaurant and had a great time tasting many unique Hungarian dishes and drinks - including a great variety of palinka. The workers were very courteous as well, ensuring a swift replacement of all dishes. Will definitely comme back.

We had celebrated with our friend's "biggest day" of the narrow 70 people. We have enjoyed common with the wellness and restaurant delights. Both two pool had great panorama. For more complete experience they had various saunas and steam rooms as well as the flavor room.

We have stayed there last summer. I did not think, that in the small town there is the unique castle hotel with very beautiful park. Our room has balcony, from there we can see the fantastic country landscape with hill, lakes, grapes…Whole castle hotel has very pleasurable atmosphere. The wellness and spa services are very goods. The receptionists and waiters... More

I stayed here with my sister and Mom. The location was convenient as the relatives we were visiting lived in a small town nearby. Our stay was surprisingly quite pleasant. We were given rooms directly across from each other making it very convenient to visit each other's rooms which we did frequently. It also worked well because my sister and... More

Peter L. Very comfortable hotel, beautiful castle and park, smiling staff, meals are very taste and the wines are excellent. The swimming pool and spa area are good. The wine tasting program is very interesting. We will come back.

Staff speaks NO ENGLISH whatsoever. Very difficult to communicate even for the most basic of things. If you're there for a hunting trip, be advised, you are unlikely to get your trophies as they're extraordionarily inept at dealing with the paper work required to bring it back to the US.

We have stayed in Fried Castle Hotel in August 2012. The Castle is very beautiful with a large park. The staffs are professional and always ready to help us in everything. Our room is very comfortable, the meals are tasty. We will come back next year.

Called Fried Hotel 3 days before arriving for a wedding to confirm the price of our room to avoid any surprises. Expected to pay the wedding discounted rate 19,800 Ft. for the night for 2 adults and 2 kids. Upon check-in I got a bill that was double. I refused to pay and said I would not stay. Receptionist spoke... More

We are not picky travelers; usually a comfort of a 4 start hotel is sufficient for us. However our stay at Fried Castle was highly unsatisfactory. There’s no AC, so we had to sleep with our windows open. Unfortunately, that meant dealing with the constant noise of dog barking at night and what appears to be a nearby sawmill at... More

We were there in October 2008. The surrounding is quite plain, there's nothing to see except the small renovated castle. The so called 'wellness facilities' are a smelly jacuzzi and a sauna which was cold at 8 pm. The minaral water costed the double as the premium wines. Even we had wine tasting in our package, we had to pay... More
