“Beautiful, historic building”

We spent two nights at the Hedervary Castle on a VBT bike tour, and loved it. The main building dates to the 16th century, but a building has been on this site since the 12th century. “Noble accommodations”

We stayed here for two nights while on a wonderful VBT bike tour. The castle has been beautifully renovated to recreate the feeling of what it must have been like to be the guest of the original count and countess who lived here. The service is truly refined; we were treated like lords and ladies.

We had a lovely time staying in the castle. Lovely grounds and location. Could do with some improvement with food and presentaion, gym and spa facilities. “Would be great, if the staff understood you.”

I've stayed at hundreds of hotels all over the world. I've never stayed at a hotel where nobody speaks english. The only languages understood are hungarian and german. As a result the staff speaks slowly and quite loud - in german. Not helping.

“Charming and authentic Castle Hotel in central Hungary”

We stayed in Castle Héderváry for 3 nights, and loved the accommodation, food, and charming service. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfasts simple, and dinners excellent. The staff were very pleasant. We would recommend the carriage ride.

“Fantastic romantic location - fabulous in every respect”

Stayed at Hedervar for a romantic 4 day weekend and had a wonderful time. Excellent location, only 85km from Vienna airport.
