The hotel was on the water's edge with wonderful views and your own private access to the beach below. It was quiet, the rooms were spacious, well serviced and very comfortable. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip, but given the remoteness of the island and that it was not in season, we didn't mind. We stayed 1-3 April. We had a room with a shared terrace and there were some other people using other rooms, who used the terrace a lot; but it wasn't an issue for us.... More

We came for a wedding, it was our first trip to italy and we enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is nice, full of character, just a few meters from the a rocky beach. Hotel Ariana is a very nice and historic building with a terrace right next to the sea. Our room, however, cost a fortune and was situated next to the terrace of the hotel 's restaurant with loud music in the evening. The breakfast was served on the terrace and was good with real cappucino's. Don't go to the hotel's restaurant!... More

we stayed here for two days and we didn't like hotel ariana because we payed for a service they didn't give us. We payed 140 euros for a room that was supposed to have all the services of a 3 star hotel. The tv was not going on, it was disconnected... maybe I didn't want to watch Tv... but if... More

The hotel L'Ariana was the first place I visited at the island Salina and immediately I fell in love with that place! The ancient villa is build right on the rocks above the sea, so in your bed you will hear the sound of the sea! Take a room with access to the terrace and take a swim first thing... More

We had room with a terrace and a beautiful few over the sea. We wanted to stay for three nights, but it was so great that we stayed our whole holydays.

I'd be careful about going to the Hotel L'Ariana (Rinella). We stayed there for 4 nights in mid-September 2007. It was the most expensive (but only because we got a deal at the lovely Lisca Biana on Panarea as it was near the end of the season), and worst, of the hotels we stayed at during our 'Aeolian adventure' ....
