We stayed here for one night during our car-roundtrip in Romania.
We had a extremely spacious and clean room which was nicely furnished and had a wooden floor.
We also had dinner at the hotel as it was too late to go out when we arrived. The dinner was ok, although not overwhelming and staff was, well, what can I say, “silent” and “slow”. Others might call it unfriendly or soviet-like.
Breakfast could have been better.
The Gaiser is romantically surrounded by trees in the middle of a forest. It is calm and gives you a good sleep. As we stayed in about 10 different hotels everywhere in Romania, I can say that this was one of the better ones (given a certain price limit) and I would recommend it for a stay.
Nonetheless it is important to know that you definitely need a car to get there. more
