Recently stayed with my mother. Really pleasant 'country house' hotel - full of antique and quirky furniture, nooks & crannies, with amazing thoughful service and a wonderfully warm welcome from the owner, whio was an everpresent, Katherine O'Sullivan. Food was very good for dinner.

This house is located 5 minutes drive outside Bantry. Whilst trying to find the hotel, I was looking for somewhere with a seaview given the name. When we came across the Hotel, it was obvious there was no seaview apart from one room on the ground floor. The grounds are beautiful, but the trees hide a beautiful view over the... More

We spent a night at the Seaview House while attending a "Masters of Tradition" performance in Bantry. We had eaten at the Seaview some years ago and had a positive impression but this was our first stay. We were very pleasantly surprised. It has a country house feel but with upscale hotel services and food. Our room was a delight.... More

We enjoyed lunch at the Seaview House Hotel last Sunday with a group of family and friends for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious with a choice of at least 6 starters and main courses. At an all in price of €30 for 5 courses, starter, soup, main course, dessert (as much as you want from the dessert trolley)... More

I was attending a wedding celebration in nearby Bantry Bay but decided to stay slightly out of town at Seaview House for six nights this summer. All staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The furnishings were tasteful and charming both in my room and in the lounges. The cuisine in the attractive dining room was outstanding. When touring this part... More

Nice building in itself, but it really needs some attention and I think it is time to consider some new hands on the wheel to run the place. At first the house looked nice, but it feels like no one tries to keep it up to date anymore. It was possibly grand in the late 1980s, but now it feels... More

Recently visited this charming hotel near Bantry for Sunday lunch. Lovely location surrounded by trees and gardens. Food was amazing and great value. The dessert trolley was the highlight, you can select from a range of desserts on the trolley, and you can try more than one. Well recommended!!

We are just back from a 4 night stay and I could not fault "Seaview House". Kathleen is a wonderful host and we were made feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff are second to none - from Mary, Jane and Angela to the youngest members - Ciara and Orla - we found each and every staff... More
