We stayed here for a wedding. They really looked after all the guests & some great photos where taken around the gardens. Really friendly staff. The Hotel itself is lovely, nice food & spa area good too. The rooms big, little old but clean & fresh towels every day. Nice lil break from Dublin - cheap & cheerful. We went... More

I spent a day and a night here mid week with a girlfriend which included an afternoon in the spa, dinner, bed and breakfast for a very reasonable price. Overall, my first impressions were good, but the restaurant and bar didnt have much atmosphere.Food was average. The actual Spa treatments were above average, the rest of the facilities were average.... More

I recently spent one night with family at Dunboyne Castle, although I live nearby this was my first visit to the hotel. The hotel itself is set in nice grounds and the hotel is quite comfortable with a beautiful thermal suite. Where this hotel fails for me is service, I found the staff to be unprofessional, complacent and bordering on... More

We recently had our wedding here. Guests were a mix of nationalities. However the staff were faultless in our dealings with them. They made every part of the lead up and the actual day very easy for us. The staff had to deal with numerous requests from ourselves and the guests, but there was never a problem. The hotel itself... A recent night away with the husband for a rugby function which was being hosted at the hotel proved very pleasant. We decided to make a day of it and use the spa- some great offers and a very pleasant way to spent an otherwise miserable wet day in early May. I ordered a superior room so that we could... More

We only stayed here for one night, however, I can see why people like this hotel, it does have a lot going for it, I wouldn't rate it a 4 star, but it is a solid 3 star. The rooms are well appointed, the bathrooms are nice and the restaurant is good, if a good rate can be found then... More

im a big fan of reasonably priced indulgance. both myself and my husband stayed at dunboyne castle and frankly we did nt want to leave. Set in woodlands with rolling lawns and yet the village of Dunboyne is only minutes away. The hotels leisure facilities are second to non and are free to use while a resident. Do sit in... More
