Really enjoyed my stay at Dunboyne Castle. The room was clean & quiet with a big tv and plenty of channels. I had both breakfast and dinner at The IVY. Both meals were very good and the staff couldn't do enough for you. I had dined at the Ivy before and was very underwhelmed. Apparently, they have a new restaurant... More

Stayed her with my bf for the weekend. Lovely staff, good rooms, nice breakfast. Doesn't really look like a castle, though it was a really nice spa hotel, and the outdoor jacuzzi was great. Dinner in the hotel was also very good. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Meath!

We were here last week for Afternoon Tea and at €25.00 for two it's probably the best value in a nice hotel in the greater Dublin area. The service was very good and the staff really nice. It was busy for a Thursday afternoon and it's good to see the economy growing again. Fancy a nice snack on a afternoon... More

Stayed for one night with an advertised B&B/Dinner package, staff were friendly and helpful, prepared food was of a high standard for all the meals we had on our stay, the hotel itself and rooms were clean, modern and nicely finished. Hydro spa was enjoyable to use, my wife was however dissatisfied with a spa treatment she received but the... More

Very nice staff but terrible service. Took over half an hour to produce one ham and cheese sandwich (unremarkable), with the tea and americano being served long before sandwich arrived. In fact I had to go and chase it up as we were sitting out on terrace. Good buzz about the place but we got the feeling the staff lacked... More

After long flights to get there, our first night in Ireland was at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel and what a good choice it was! If we hadn't got lost I'm sure it would not have been far from Dublin Airport and it was great to get out of the city and to sleep with the windows open to enjoy the... More
