We stayed 2 nights as we walked some tracks around Buje. Our room was pleasant and the dinner on both nights was amazingly good. Sound travels very easily through walls which can be a bit unnerving!! For some reason, they close the bedroom shutters after servicing the room so that you walk back into a pitch black room. Other windows... More

The Casa is just off the long distance path, a disused railway line, of the same name in a tiny hamlet, less than 3Km from Buje. The staff were welcoming and efficient and Guido, contrary to other reports, was extremely helpful and efficient - I mentioned a problem with the shower(probably self induced) and within minutes one of the staff... Let me start with the positives. The place is cute...nice location to other cute towns. The restaurant is very good and service was excellent. Great location if you are cycling. Room was clean...housekeeping was good. If you are allergic to bees....stay away. There were so many...it was daunting walking to the door daily. Perhaps trim the lavender a bit. The... More

The people were lovely, relaxed and comfortable, but maybe a little too comfortable. My husband was much put off because there were still little smears on the walls from the corpses of squished mosquitos. But overall, the place had the kind of relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that only makes me think of graciousness, and absolutely every other thing was spotlessly... More

We stayed here to begin a bike ride from Buje to Buzet. The staff were very friendly and even allowed us to use their laundry to do a load of washing as we had been travelling for a week. Rooms were clean and had a separate bathroom. We also had a very nice dinner in the lovely garden outside (... More

We stayed here for two nights, once at the beginning, and once at the end of our Croatian bicycle trip. As cyclists, we were made to feel very welcome, and our bicycles were provided a safe indoor refuge. This hotel is in a charming spot at a crossroads outside the town of Buje. You approach the hotel entrance through a... More

As soon as you set eyes on La Parenzana's exterior -- an old stone farmhouse that is beautifully maintained -- you'll know you've chosen the right spot. The konoba's food is tops, all fresh ingredients from the immediate area, creatively prepared. The 16 rooms are comfortable and extremely clean, as are small hotels throughout Croatia's Istrian penisula. For bikers, this... More

Very nice, small and cozy hotel in the heart of Istria, very-well located for my very enjoyable cycling holiday - but hotel e-mailed us clear instructions how to find it. Rooms are well kept, tidy, spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere in the hotel is so pleasant and homely, that you can't help but fall in love with it. The management... More

We enjoyed it very much, the whole treatment was such a great expirience for us. The service was very kind and hospitable, they treated us like we are king and queen, and they were very fast when they heard that we are very hungry. The meal from the begining was delicious- they serve home made Istrian bread, pasta, meet, cheese... More
