Relaxed and friendly hotel with excellent views! Binoculars provided in each room which is a thoughtful touch. The room was clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The staff are friendly and attentive they couldn't have made me feel more welcome. The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

We boked this hotel in order to attend a wedding at Birtsmorton Court. Cannot complain about a single thing to do with our stay. Staff we friendly and helpful - even allowed us to check in several hours early so that we could drop our things off before leaving for the wedding. The views are simply stunning - we are... More

I was pleased to read that we were able to give you access to your room early. Very handy if you are off to an event such as a wedding. Glad too that you enjoyed your stay, even if it was for the reason of the wedding rather than a break. You say you may well be back. We'll be... More

Stayed at the Cottage in the woods for the first time. On arrival on Saturday 9th May 2015 our first impression was the stunning view and of course the hotel then greeted by amazing staff throughout our stay - food is excellent and too was our room together with the genuine warm, friendly and professional staff. Hope the new management... More

The good news is that only the "oldies" -Sue and me - are departing, ALL the team stays on and the whole ethos will continue as a family run hotel. After 28 years there comes a point when the joints wont take it anymore and the thought of working from breakfast to lock up loses it's appeal!! I'm delighted we... More

The owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Its relaxed and friendly atmosphere is evident throughout from the welcoming reception on arrival to the well appointed bedroom and excellent dinner. The views are everything they are claimed to be and the binoculars provided in our bedroom is a nice touch as is the fresh milk. There... More

You've got me into trouble! My daughter, tongue in cheek, said "did you write this review?" Well, I didn't and if I had I wouldn't have been that big headed. However, I'm so pleased that you enjoyed every aspect of your stay. I've drawn the attention of the team to your comments and thank you on their behalf. Hope to... More

It was a joy to me to read your review because what you report is what we aim to provide; a haven from the hurly burly of normal existence. We do try to live up to the moto: "The answers yes, now what is the question." Hope to see you again. John More

A delightful hotel in a truly wonderful setting. Our room for a two night stay (kindly upgraded) looked out over the Severn Vale and the weather was clear and sunny. We could have spent all day just enjoying the view from the terrace. Excellent food at dinner (including sea bass, fillet of beef), and an interesting and reasonably priced wine... More

I share all the reviews with our team without whom we would not be able to provide all the things you commented on (except the views which come free!!), so I'm delighted you enjoyed the hotel, food etc and hope that you returned refreshed. Hope to see you again. Many thanks for taking the trouble to post a review. John More

We stayed 2 nights on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is situated high up in the Malvern Hills and has outstanding views over the Vale of the Severn. Our room (number 22) in the 'Pinnacles', about 70 yards from the main building, was spacious and charming. French windows led on to a patio giving access to the... More

I was concerned that we did not live up to our reputation with regard to dinner but very pleased to read that in all other respects you enjoyed your stay. The location is magical and even after 28 years I never tire of it. Thank you for your review. John More

A very friendly reception and well organised. It took us just one minute for all four of us to be booked in. Really nice rooms (2) looking over the eastern counties. On a Livingsocial deal we didn't expect such a panoramic view, or any view to be honest. Good temperature control in the room with extra heater and fan available... More

Thanks so much for your review. Your comment "one of the few I would return to" is a very big compliment and much appreciated. We are delighted that you and your friends recommend the top floor of The Pinnacles which have larger "attic shaped" rooms or small front facing doubles which probably have the best views of the entire site... Stayed in ground floor Pinnacles rooms with patio, so able to enjoy a drink and the views on arrival. Easy access to paths leading up onto the Malvern Hills. Comfortable room, 'classic' style decor. Good bathroom, strong shower. The hotel has a very independent feel, attentive and friendly service from all. The restaurant has a more contemporary style, good value... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed the food in our restaurant and staying in The Pinnacles building. Booked from New Zealand, we were not disappointed with this accommodation on our month visit to the Uk. From the moment we stepped into the reception to check in, the service from the staff was A1 from beginning to end. We stayed here 3 nights in a very spacious bedroom with awesome views and a patio . The size of... More

Hi there. Thank you for your kind review of our hotel and restaurant. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and found the room spacious, clean and comfortable, if not dated. We do have an extensive refurbishment planned which will slowly cover all the bedrooms over the next couple of years. The views are breathtaking, especially at this time... More
