A return visit to this lovely area. Another relaxing break and as good if not better than previous experience. All staff excellent, friendly and discreet. Food beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. Not plastered in salt like our earlier Michelin venture. Room very comfortable though bathroom needed an extractor. Will definitely return at earliest opportunity.

Thank you for your review. It's always good to hear from returning guest as they can monitor our consistency - and indeed our striving to always get better. The team here are all able to express themselves and are a mile apart from the "plastic" welcome you get in so many larger, chain hotels. We actively encourage this. It advances... More

I stayed there with my fiancee in mid-November and it was a wonderful step into a pampered world. The staff were welcoming and thorough, the food was excellent, cooked well, AND delivered on hot plates! I loved the write-ups in the wine list and the menu about what it is that drives the owners to run this establishment. They do... More

It's a joy to read that you both enjoyed your stay, even in the gloomy month of November. Also that you enjoyed the write ups and comments. They are far from the usual stuffy sentences that abound in wine lists, usually written by the wine merchant and therefore "standard". Glad too you enjoyed the food. I trust the weather did... More

We stumbled across this hotel/restaurant as we were walking the Malvern hills. A little sign on the dirt track said that walkers were welcome and we were just in time for Sunday lunch. We arrived, mud splattered, at the same time as a few families just out of church in their Sunday best. We felt a little underdressed, but we... More

Sadly, most people are at the very top of the hills on the ridge and miss the invitation on our gates. Delighted you found us and that you enjoyed your Sunday lunch. Yes, in the warmer weather it is a delight to sit out on the terrace and enjoy lunch or afternoon tea. Thank you for your review. I hope... More

We returned from an envigorating yet relaxing stay with our 2 dogs on Wednesday and look forward to returning soon. Our room in the Pinnacles was both luxurious and reassuring. By the former I mean a great bath with a really powerful shower, a hugely comfortable super king size bed and best of all stupendous views over the valley. As... More

It was great to read your comments about the team. I've often said that the difference is they enjoy what they do and we give them the freedom to express themselves with their own personality rather than the "How can I help you. Have a nice day" chants you get all too often. Glad too the dogs were catered for... More

We have had the opportunity to stay here twice in the last 6 weeks and on each occasion the welcome has been superb on arrival. We have stayed in the main house with front facing rooms and the views are wonderful. The rooms varied in size but were classically furnished and very comfortable. The bar for pre dinner drinks and... More

Thank you for your comments. Dominic's new menu does push the boat out and has some excellent creative touches without being "prissy" (I can claim no credit!). Delighted you have stayed twice in quick succession. How about Spring as an excuse for the hat trick? Thank you for your review. John More

This hotel certainly lives up to its positive reviews. Very charming hotel and staff. Very personal in its approach and presentation not your corporate bog standard hotel. Rooms old but very well maintained full of character and charm. Bathroom was clean fresh and roomy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the waitress was mature in age and mature in experience and... Thank you so much for your review. I have passed your comments on to the team. I think that their attitude comes from actually enjoying what they do, which is of course looking after guests. We are certainly not a corporate hotel and in fact hope we are the antithesis of that! We attempt to provide a haven for people... More

saw a deal on living social advertising this place. I called directly and they honoured the same deal. 3 course evening meal for 2 bed and breakfast £149. We arrived mid afternoon, the views are outstanding, and we were thrilled that the hotel accepts dogs. A great area for walking. The quality of food was tremendous on both sittings. I... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that you were delighted with the food. The team under my son Dominic who is our Head Chef will be pleased to read the review (for which many thanks) . Gathering family for a nearby wedding we were given excellent service here. Sandwiches and coffee greeted our early arrival to get changed. Rooms were immaculate and views delightful. An older member of our party was treated helpfully and sympathetically. We only experienced one night, plus some late-night drinks and a great breakfast but we all fancy coming back for longer.... We stayed at this establishment with a group of friends. We wwre allocated a bedroom in the annexe which had 4 bedrooms, ours was upstairs and had lovely views but the heating was intermittent and we had to call staff to sort it out. The bathroom fittings were dated and the furniture in the bedroom old fashioned. The food in... More

I was pleased to see that you enjoyed the food whilst you were with us. Beech Cottage bathrooms are due for a winter make-over which will enhance the rooms but it is nice to be able to book the four rooms together when you are a group or family. Many thanks for the review. John More

We had stayed at this hotel once before and were a little disappointed that the only double room free did not have a good view, but it really didn't matter. Our room in the Pinnacles (44) was warm & spacious, with a lovely bathroom. There were plenty of towels and products but the heated towel rail was the only heating... More

I personally like room 44 very much despite it looking over the woodland. It's spacious and the bathroom large too. I was perplexed by the bathroom being too cold as there is an electric radiator in all the Pinnacles bathrooms. I'm about to check. Delighted you enjoyed the food on your second visit. We hope to see you again. many... More
