With the help of a dedicated member of staff, this wonderful jewel in the crown on the side of the beautiful Malvern hills, help me organise a wonderful weekend event for my family who were travelling from around the UK and Europe. What a great job they did. The rooms in the Pinnacles wing were very comfy with fantastic views... More

Very nice hotel with amazing views. We didn't stay in the main building and had a short walk from our room to the main hotel for breakfast. Plenty of umbrellas supplied for the walk in the case of rain. Staff all very friendly and happy to helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good choice of food, hot food cooked... More

We chose this hotel for our 50th wedding anniversary especially because it has no functions. We are fed up with disturbed sleep from rowdy discos and wedding guests. This hotel has it all. Ambience, excellent accommodation and fine dining. The staff were unfailing in their attention to detail and the management rightly proud of their hotel and reputation.Others have commented on the views... This hotel has the uncanny knack of making you feel totally relaxed as soon as you arrive. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with fabulous views across the valley. All the food was excellent, & we were most impressed with the early breakfast tray which we had each morning. This is definitely... More

Thank you for your comments. I know that when we go away the ability to relax is paramount so I'm glad we succeeded for you. There are too many hotels which are either "mecanhical" in their responses or "overwhelming and stuffy". I do hope we are never either! Delighted to read you will return. John More

We had heard about this hotel for a very long time but never quite had the time to travel to it even for lunch but we have some friends who have just moved to the area from Oxford and said we must meet up at "The Cottage". Well, it was well worth it although the drive was a bit tiring... More

I'm very glad to read that the journey was worth it! We are privileged to have such a magnificent setting and it's one that maybe I don't always look at but one that I never take for granted. Delighted you enjoyed your dinner and overnight. Sounds as if you'll soon be returning. Great. John More

We live just over the hill from The Cottage but we do keep our visits for special treats. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary there last month and enjoyed it so much returned for my birthday treat last Thursday. It really is very special, the service, friendliness and food are all superb. On mentioning our anniversary we had not expected... More

We stayed at the Cottage in the Wood last weekend with a group of 10 friends for our wedding anniversary. The setting and the view from the hotel are outstanding probably the best in the UK, certainly the best view of any hotel we have stayed at. The staff and service are both excellent and all our frequent requests at... More

Firstly, Happy Anniversary! Secondly, I'm delighted that a special occasion was a rip-roaring success - even the weather behaved! I'm also very pleased the team met your requests in full. We are of the "the answers yes, now what is the question?" mentality which I shorthand to "if we can we will". Also, I'm delighted you are keen to return.... More

It was a long shot when we booked this B & B since we had no frame of reference in Malvern Wells but we were pleased with our overnight accommodation. This is a service driven, small B & B located above the town of Malvern. The staff was quite helpful on arrival and all during our 24 hour stay. The... More

Thank you for recommending us in your review. You are right, it is a beautiful(and largely unknown) part of the world. Coming originally from the Home Counties, we fell just in love with it. As you travel across the Malvern Hills into Herefordshire you enter the least spoilt English county with maybe the exception of Northumberland. Delighted you enjoyed your... More
