Room was very large and well equiped. Disappointed with parking arrangements as we were asked to park some distance away in a dark unsecured carpark as there was a function on. We were told that car parks were reserved for the function and not for guests of the Hotel. The most annoying thing apart from walking a long way to... more

We've stayed here for years, every time we visit Leeds. We used to live in Headingley so it's ideally situated to visit all our old haunts and old friends. And the free secure parking is excellent. The rooms are a good size, comfy beds, but those little old 14" TVs are well overdue for upgrading. The towels are wearing out... more

I stayed at Headingly Lodge, Leeds, England last year and would highly recommend this hotel for all the cricket tragics out there...The rooms are actually a part of the Headingly Cricket Ground, and all windows face the actual ground itself. It's quite a thing to throw open the curtains in the morning and watch the groundsmen working on the pitch... more

I stayed at this hotel with a colleague and was initially impressed. The rooms are big and well appointed and the view of the pitch adds some extra interest, BUT..... ....A Cristmas party was going on below our rooms which involved loud music until midnight. Then at 1am some drunken idiot set off the fire alarm, the alarm went off... more

A good value for money hotel - room was lovely along the lines of a good, modern Premier Travel Inn but larger. Great view etc. Great location. Staff we met were polite. Breakfast served to room on time and of good quality. However in line with previous comments the sound proofing is an issue if you happen to have problem... more

Booked through Late Rooms.Com. Hotel situated at Yorkshire County Cricket Ground. All rooms overlook cricket pitch so have great views. Large, bright, well equiped room. King -size comfortable bed. No bath but shower etc very clean. Tea/coffee making facility in room and milk in the fridge. Plenty of secure parking specially designated for hotel users. Ideal situation for visiting both... more

If you are going to the cricket or Rugby you really cant get any closer than this! Fantastic location, spacious room with the most comfortable bed, and the bed is MASSIVE! The negatives are: Food - there is nothing to hand in the ground, unless you want a burger from a van! and that's only on match days No cooked... more

There is really only one word to describe the Headingley Lodge..... Brilliant For value for money, cleanliness, situation (particularly if you are a cricket fan) and comfort this can't be beaten (not like the Yorkshire cricket team!) The room was very hot when we arrived as it faces west and enjoys the evening sun but a fan was thoughtfully provided... more

Woke up to views of the cricket ground, after spending the previous evening at the ajoining rugby stadium. Breakfast not included but plenty available locally.
