the only good thing to be said about the hotel is that it is very close to headingly cricket ground. you will often see hotels referred to as ''tired''. this hotel is exhausted. inky decor filthy carpets-Bedding years old.. I will not return

From the outside the hotel looks closed down, so had to ask the Taxi Driver to wait whilst I checked. The front is uncared for and untidy. Felt quite uncomfortable travelling as a single female. The guy on Reception was very friendly. The hallway and corridors are very dark and a bit of a struggle if you have more than... More

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel with two business colleagues. Much more character than bog standard holiday inn express, travel inns etc. And a decent full english for £3.50 - can't go wrong. Some decor issues it's true but you do get tea/coffee facilities including biscuits and a clean comfortable bed. Overall staff were very helpful and friendly... More

Third time we stayed in this hotel and yet again, very pleased. The room (Renoir) was clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is excellent...can't fault...see you again next year!

To be fair, this is only £60 a night - half the cost of the nearish Holiday Inn. But... the outside is uncared for, the rooms are dark, dingy and dirty, I was not sure I should have had bare feet on the carpet! Holes in the walls where the plaster was falling off, smell of damp in places, strange... More

No complaints with this Hotel, I was sceptical pulling up at 11pm on a Sunday night after a 260 mile drive, as it doesn’t look very appealing on first sight. But, I found my room clean, bed comfortable and the en suite more than sufficient for the price paid, the breakfast was top notch, and the bar area very welcoming.... More

Springs in the bed stuck into my back, the toilet and shower was dirty toilet chain wouldn`t work, i thought it was more like a hostel really needs a make over ,won`t be staying there again, but the dining room was clean and the meals looked good. Wasn`t worth the £50 charged for the night but paid it was glad to leave.

I booked this hotel as it was ideally situated for an event i was attending at the Heart Centre. I noticed a few varied reviews some mentioning the dated decor. Yes I can see what they are getting at its not like a modern premier Inn or Travelodge. But I found my room to be very clean and tidy. Nice... More

Recently stayed at this hotel through Groupon. What can I say!!, The hotel was very dark, dingy and musty smelling on entry. the carpets and décor was something out of the arc with very dark colours and all paintwork painted or stained a very deep brown. We were given a room up in the attic part of the hotel which... More

I booked the room the very day of my stay so didn't expect to find a good deal. However, I found out this place through trivago and it was just 32£ for a standard single room with private bathroom with bath tube and all the facilities. What I liked about the room was that the it was kept the way... More
