When you're travelling on business it's nice to stay in a hotel that has some character and a few friendly faces. Haley's delivers on both. There's a pleasant lounge bar in which to work or relax and bedrooms are warm, comfortable and quiet (well, mine was). Bars and restaurants in Headlingley are just a short walk away, a great advantage... More

This was a very brief visit as we only arrived at 10.30pm and left shortly after breakfast. But that was time was enough to enjoy a large room with a big comfy bed in a lovely building. A piece of quiet history amongst the sprwaling city that is Leeds. The staff were lovely, both on reception and those on breakfast... More

What a superb entrance! I felt as though I was elevated to stardom, and the welcome from the staff reinforced that! A lovely room, a lovely hotel, a fine breakfast. I can heartily recommend Haley's Hotel.

It was a dark and stormy night when I stayed at Haley's Hotel in Headingley and it was pretty good! On arrival, it felt like there was a touch of The Shining about the place - it feels a bit dated in some ways, but in other ways feels quite boutiquey, although it doesn't quite carry that off. I had... More

As we were visiting relatives in Leeds outskirts, we didn't want to stay in a city centre hotel 'convenient for the railway station'. We found Haleys and it was just perfect. Having driven through the centre of Leeds, which needed a great deal of concentration in the dark, to drive up the hill to Headingly and then into quiet Shire... More

I had heard good reports of this place. My personal experience is limited to having had to go there for a tea after a funeral in December; I needed to get tea for two elderly people who needed warming-up, and there was only coffee available. When I managed to get hold of someone and asked them if it would be... More

We agree with the favourable comments about Haley's. The excellent location is just a short bus ride from the city centre, on a very quiet street in Headingly - a very pleasant area with lots of shops, restaurants, and pubs. The staff were extremely friendly, and our room (a standard double) was quite large, clean, nicely decorated, well appointed and... More

i stayed here for one night the weekend of the 'Grand Depart', although I was actually there for cricket. The staff could not do enough to help. The breakfast was HUGE!!!! i would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully be staying again.

We would like to extend our thanks to Simon, Sophie and the team for helping us celebrate our wedding at Hayleys. We fell in love with the place when we first visited and from that moment on, Simon and Sophie were fantastic in helping with all the organisation and specific requests we had. We wanted a laid back celebration and... More

The rooms were very spacious and included a lovely sitting area. The staff were very friendly and the hotel offers free breakfast on weekends. The bathroom had just been done out and looked great. The hotel's location is good (just a short bus ride or lovely 50min walk to the city center). The downsides were that hotel room was showing... More

Thank you, we are looking into the water pressure particularly on the top floor, it is only a problem when everyone is drawing hot water at the same time. Thank you Gordon Jowett M.D More
