We stayed here this week while attending our daughter's graduation. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. My mum and dad had a beautiful huge room in the "turret" and my husband and I were in the ajoining annex in a huge suite with bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen. Both bedrooms were absolutely spotless and had everything you could want, even... More

We had our wedding reception at Haley's - great decision! Excellent food, great atmosphere and the staff did what ever they could to keep us all happy throughout the day. Our rooms in the main building were excellent - spacious, well kitted out and presented. Fantastic couple of days - thank you!

My wife and I arrived after midnight owing to flight times to be welcomed by a friendly night porter who assured us that the bar was available for as long as we might need it! After a long flight from Crete this was so valuable and we had two drinks, unwinding after an eventful 48 hours including a night in... More

5 star. Superb hotel. Great location, food excellent. Bed very comfy. Received free upgrade. Will be staying again, though next time it will be for a weekend getaway with my wife. Breakfast in the morning had a superb selection, which sorted my slight hangover after watching pearl jam at the leeds direct arena.

Returned for a third time to this hotel, due to son attending Leeds Uni. We were allocated room 6 which has been updated since our last visit. A warm night, so hotel very warm. No air conditioning, so you might want to ask for a fan. The rest of the hotel.....hotel entrance and bar/reception area are in need of a... More

I am a little confused, if I had wrote 3 'mixed bag' reviews I think I might have a look around. We generally get good reviews at Haley's and we do get most things right most of the time. Gordon Jowett M.D More

We only booked a room for one night. When we arrived we were somewhat surprised to be told that our room was in the annex rather than the main hotel. However, the room we were given was actually quite nice - clean, functional and with a very comfortable bed. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on... More

I don't really understand your comment about Wi-Fi, we do have it through out the building and annex. I will investigate. Thank you for your review. Gordon Jowett M.D More

Just stayed here for one night. Room was very comfortable, modern, quiet and clean. The location is perfect for children. Breakfast wasn't included so can't review the food. Staff on the whole were very helpful.

We we're very disappointed on arriving at Haleys. Very tired looking hotel. The girl on reception said the room which we had booked some months previous was occupied. I had, on making the booking discussed all rooms over the phone. I was then shown several rooms to choose from in the annexe. Well, these rooms were disgusting, they were dark... More

This guest requested to stay in the main building for a 3 night stay on arriving she found she had been put into the extension. This was a mistake made by the receptionists and we accept the blame for that, out of principal the 3 day booking was reduced to 1 day as for the rest of the review I... More

We have been visiting Headingley for many years to see England play Test cricket and have stayed in numerous overpriced hotels of dubious quality. And then we found Haley's! It's a breath of fresh air by comparison. The staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable with all the facilities you would expect (tea / coffee / kettle / iron / hairdryer... More

Thank you for your kind review, you are right in that Haley's is within walking distance of the Headingly ground and we do not take advantage of that fact in our pricing policy which remains the same through out the year. I sincerely hope that we will always be able to accommodate you on your visits to Headingly but please... More

Our family 'room' was the annexe which we were initially pleased with, lovely & spacious, however we soon realised we weren't alone! - wasps! Everywhere! Not just alive ones but at least half a dozen dead ones also which had been killed by staff & just left on the windowsills, (the can of Raid was still present!) - We spoke... More

We did have problems with a wasp nest in the eaves of the building. We did at the time bring in a pest specialist to deal with the matter after a period of a few days in which we attempted to deal with it ourselves. The problem did get sorted I am only surprised that it has taken this guest... More
