We found this place, searching on the internet for the closest B & B to the NEC, so we could enjoy the Simple Minds concert at the LG Arena withing the NEC complex. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Jenny at Kingscliffe, who then showed us to our accommodation, a self-contained log cabin structure in the spacious garden grounds.... more

The welcome was warm as was the room. Very clean and spacious. The little touches make the difference real tea and coffee, no satchets in sight, a cold bottle of water each, plus orange squash and fresh milk in the fridge. The bathroom was equiped with fluffy bath Sheets, shower gel, hand wash and hand cream and soft loo roll.... more

I have visited the Kingscliffe B&B on three occasions and have already booked again for next year. It's an oasis of calm just minutes from the bustle of the NEC. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and they have thought of everything you might possibly need during your visit - if it's not there, just ask. Fabulous breakfasts - whether your... more

I opted for Kingscliffe, because it seemed to be the nearest B&B to the NEC and indeed, my expectations were fully met. When I arrived at Birmingham International Rail Station, I just gave Jenny a ring and in a couple of minutes she came to collect me, which was very kind of her, because it was my first visit to... more

We stayed at Kingscliffe for a one night stop over in July 2009. The B&B is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from Junction 6 of the M42. Parking is safe and secure and Jenny (the owner) moved her car so that we could put ours on the drive. The accomodation is separate to the house and situated at the... more

Really great place to stay with delicious breakfast, very fun hostess and quiet, beautiful cottage of our own. Jenny was kind enough to take us to the Convention Center each morning. We walked some in the area and it is beautiful .. We would really recommend staying here. more

A peaceful setting with lovely outlook across countryside and lots of visiting feathered friends! It felt like a little secret adventure staying down the garden in exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable accommodation and not having to worry about disturbing anyone else when going in and out, talking etc. Jenny's healthy and attractive breakfast sustained me all day in the nearby... more

We recently stayed at Kingscliffe for 1 night as we were going to the Ultimate Pet Show at the NEC. We absolutely loved this charming B+B! Jenny our hostess was so friendly and accomodating,Jack too!! The lifts were great to the NEC and the pub down the road. The accomodation, the chalet in the garden was clean and cozy in... more

I choose Kingscliffe for its closeness to the NEC. When I got there Jenny was very welcoming and friendly. The cabin is in a beautiful setting and is done up in first class style. Jenny's breakfasts are to die for. I loved every second of my stay there and would highly recommend Kingscliffe to anyone staying in Birmingham and going... more

I chose Kingscliffe because they offered a free pick up and drop off, and was not at all disappointed. Jenny was welcoming and the lifts most grateful when travelling alone in an unfamiliar area. The room was a gem, comfortable and well equipped. And now I know why Jenny is famed for her beautiful fresh fruit starter to breakfast, what... more
