I stayed here for a friends wedding and had such a wonderful experience. The wedding was perfect, I couldn't fault whole day! The venue is stunning, with wonderful period features- truly such a beautiful setting for an amazing day! The lady in charge and the rest of the team did such a great job on the day making sure everything... More

Dillington house is a beautiful place the house and grounds are really impressive I only wish I could say the same for the staff. If you like to be talked down to and treated like dirt then fine but when it's someone's wedding day and they are walking round calling the shots it's not on. Kirsty the wedding planner thinks... I would NOT recommend this place to anyone wanting to hold a wedding, function etc. the place was booked for a wedding that was to take place at 1500hrs and they would only let us check in at 1430hrs. They were rude & not accommodating in the slightest as most people were travelling 4hrs plus to the location so had... More

Visited here for a wedding, and the main building was lovely, old small stately home. Staff attentive at the bar, period decoration. Rooms weren't ready until late afternoon, but we didn't mind as with us attending a wedding, our time was spent elsewhere. What I hated was the accommodation. We stayed in the Mews which is separated from the main... More

Recently stayed here with family for a wedding. As a wedding venue this place is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, the house is beautiful and the food was very good. The only down side was that the rooms are very dated and in desperate need of modernisation and breakfast was a lukewarm buffet with little choice, for this type... More

My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception here August 1st 2015. We first visited Dillington House back in winter. A roaring log fire greeted us in the entrance hall and we knew almost straight away that this was the venue which ticked all the boxes. The house and its grounds are beautiful and an ideal setting for such an... More

I went there with our WI for afternoon tea. In all there must have been at least 80 of us. The food was quite plentiful it consisted of sandwiches, cakes and tea/coffee. It was all brought out in due time and was very tasty with an attractive array if cakes. However, as someone who does not gave a sweet tooth,... More

We attended my brother and sister-in-laws 40th Wedding Anniversary dinner and disco then many of the party stayed the night which made it a beautifully relaxing break. The building and grounds are outstanding and all the children loved exploring the woods and playing croquet in the afternoon before the party. Tea was served at 4 pm and then we assembled... More

Beautiful setting very tranquil and full of character and the food was amazing!! Not sure why food and drinks not allowed in the purpose built theatre yet in the listed main house it was acceptable but hey ho, such a fine location to brighten up a grey training day

We have been attending adult education courses here for many years and cannot praise it highly enough. Arrive in a wonderful (basically tudor) old house to be greeted as freinds. The food and accomodation is superb, (there is a range of options for the rooms, from small singles to a huge suite) The courses range from a day to a... More
