This is a great old English country pub with good food and friendly service. We only went for lunch so I cannot comment on the Hotel quality of this property. Our lunch was well-prepared and good value for the price. Finding the location is half the fun of this property has it is tucked away in the countryside down narrow... More

Stayed here for one night as we had a family gathering to go to. It's a pub and the car park is opposite. Great staff gave us a warm welcome. They were prepared to make us sandwiches as we were going to arrive late. They would have stayed up is we were to arrive after 11pm. They also serve great... More

This is a really difficult one to review as there are both great and relatively poor things about the New Inn. Great: It is a beautiful old country pub in a spectacular village location, the staff and locals are friendly and welcoming and the food is great. There is good walking around the village and the location is central to... More

Accommodation clean and comfortable - a couple of small problems during a 3 night stay were sorted out very quickly by "mine host". The food and atmosphere of pub was friendly with good service and super food - both evening meals and breakfasts. staff always friendly and helpful.

Firstly it's in the most pretty and friendly village.the owners make you feel very welcome. It is very old inside the pub a most wonderful back in time feeling. We were shown to our room, which was number 1, I must say it is basic and the room has issues with damp due to the marks on the walls and... More

We had tried to book accommodations at the New Inn on our trip to Somerset, as the couple with us had stayed before and had a good experience. Unfortunately, they were fully booked this weekend, so we had to settle for a dinner visit. The pub is very quaint and cozy. There is a good selection of beverages and an... More

A smidgen difficult to find but we'll sign posted once we got closer. Fabulous location. A bit disconcerting to arrive late afternoon between opening hours and hotel seemed shut. The lady there got us sorted though and we had a lovely visit. The room basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nicely cooked and plentiful. Would stay again.

We returned today after having stayed for 5 nights at this inn. This inn is located in a very picturesque and friendly village. We cannot praise the service and friendliness enough. One of our highlights were the cooked breakfasts, only allowed on our holidays, but well worth waiting for. The bacon was second to none. The only trouble with giving... More

This pub is somewhat out of the way and so we needed the sat nav to locate it. Nevertheless, the Accommodation and the food all offered very good value for money. Our bedroom was a bit spartan and the hairdrier was missing, but we had a peaceful night in a very comfortable bed. We were staying on Monday night and... More
