We traveled with our 3 kids (ages 10,9,6) and they were very accommodating and added 3 cots to our large room. the food was great. the trails were fantastic for hiking. We spent 2 mornings hiking even with the rainy weather (bring extra shoes). The staff were great with the kids. We played soccer outside in the field. We played... More

Stayed here for one night when I was traveling to Aberdeen, and what an unexpected surprise. The hotel it located in a valley near glenshee and what beautifull surroundings. On arrival I was shown the bar, games room and restraunt which were very traditional and suited to the hotel. The food was to an outstanding quality using all scottish produce... More

The castle is in a beautiful valley 19 miles from Blairgowrie but needs money spent on it urgently. Our room was massive and has a separate bathroom and a small extra room with two small twin beds, shame we were just the two of us. The room has dual aspect and a lovely bed but lacked some modern elements, the... More

Last weekend we were in Dalmunzie Castle. It's location is situated in an idyllic framework, an intense green environment where you can only breathe the peace. Very clean and beautiful rooms with antique furniture. All the charming of a castle is also palpable in the common areas which transmit history, tradition and comfort, resulting a very cozy set. The food... More

Stayed here for three nights. Staff couldn't do more for you. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. There is a bar menu if you don't fancy the luxury option. Bar open with games. Turn left at end of drive and you drive through the most beautiful road in Britain which takes you the Braemar. If your after new and universal this... More

We were there yesterday after a long hillwalk to have hot drinks. The coffees took forever and they were cold when arrive. We complain and instead of make new ones they warm the coffees in the microwave!!!! and After that they don't even know which one was from each person. Terrible service in the lobby!

We have just spent a very lovely 3 days at Dalmunzie Castle Hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful & attentive, the rooms were clean & well kept & the food was thoroughly enjoyable. We had a beautiful four poster bed & our 12 yr old had a bed further down the room. The staff seem to have thought of... More

We stayed here for two night in January 2013. We absolutely loved it! We had a fantastic time and couldn't fault our stay! Would highly recommend. The food is out of this world! Surrounding scenery is beautiful! Such a relaxing stay! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Happened on Dalmunzie after another booking fell through. What good fortune!! This is all that is "best of Scotland". Quirky, comfortable and remarkably situated at the foot of Glenshee - minutes from Braemar, and within striking distance of Balmoral (for Royal watchers!). Staff were wonderful without being "over-the-top". The food is nothing short of exceptional! A destination to factor in... More

With a party who had sole use of the castle for a wedding. Lovely venue, the staff are all polite, courteous and efficient as well as friendly. The location is beautiful and the castle has traditional games as well as croquet and a small golf course.
