We stayed in highland lodge no 45 the smell of dampness on opening the door was horrendous when I complained the office sent a cleaner with a spray this was a joke I complained to the office manager but nothing was done I also said about the lounge carpet and our bedroom window with the snow and rain coming in... We spent the first week of 2016 in the Eagle lodge. 4 adults and a baby. The view is beautiful but the resort is far from everything. You have to drive at least 2 hours if you want to discover Scotland a little bit. It was raining every day and it was was very windy. The lounge/kitchen area was very... More

Well to use a well worn cliche, it was a game of two halves! I'll do the bad first so we end on a high! Having read other reviews I was aware that the electricity charge would be high. Unlike and against the grain we were a bit more frugal than usual but still ended up being charged more than... More

Much has been posted on Trip Advisor already about this resort and the reviews have all been accurate. We traded a US based timeshare for a week here and weren't quite sure what to expect. The location is lovely and all units appear to have a view of the loch and mountains which are both beautiful. The town of Kinloch... More

We had a fantastic week at Loch Rannoch. Staff were really helpful and we had a great time relaxing, playing games and eating/drinking way too much - it was a bit wet outside but inside its a perfect place for a week away from everything - highly recommended

We've stayed at the Highland Club several times, but the first time in Highland 5: it's a fabulous Lodge and has been recently refurbished to a high standard e.g walk in shower, great fitted kitchen and under floor heating. Very clean and maintained too. The view over Loch Rannoch is amazing and the large conservatory overlooking the Loch and hills... More

Before I came here I was scouring Trip Advisor for reviews to find out what the place was really like, so here’s what you might want to know. The décor is tasteful but dated. The kitchen is wood with arches, circa late 1990s and the lounge furniture echoes that, but it’s clean and comfortable. Upstairs (the level you enter at)... More

The views are spectacular, the area is stunning,if you've got the weather, the sunset is unbeatable,Perthshire's surrounding towns are impeccable. Great Cafe/Gift Shop in the square. Lodges? Maintenance Fee?? There wasn't a light of any sort working on the path from Hotel to Lodges, particularly unsafe after 7pm! TIME FOR SOME DIY & TLC WE'RE THINKING???

This was our first visit to Loch Rannoch and we had been warned that it is well off the beaten track. It is but well worth the effort for the tranquility and stunning views. Our apartment Otter 2 was at the highest point in the complex a bit of a shock climbing 35 steps with bags only 10 weeks after... More
