views to die for, but nowhere to get a bar meal you need to be totally self sufficient. Village shop very good. Lots of walking and Rannoch Station is a must for cake and coffee. Good train trip to Fort William, very cheap if you book online before going. Beware no mobile reception and internet impossible reception but free.

Been coming here for a few years and never disappointed. Friendly staff, all good accommodation and natural scenic views that compare well with anywhere! Here for a week and just chill. Go walks in morning, relax reading books while looking over the loch in your snug conservatory in the afternoon. If travelling by car stock up with your provisions and... More

We enjoyed an excellent week at Loch Rannoch, the views from the lodge were stunning, changing with the weather. We were able to capture amazing photos from brilliant sunshine to snow to mist and sunsets. The area of Perthshire is so picturesque and we did plenty of walking in different locations every day. A car is essential if you want... More

We bought a timeshare apartment at Loch Rannoch in 1979 with some redundancy money and have never regretted that investments. The Club now owned by its members, divorced from Mc Donalds Hotel Chain is now in good health, a ideal place to chill, with glorious scenery and plenty of attractions if you need them within a short drive. The village... More

Brilliant for a relaxing break. Recommend the walking tour as Steve the guide is excellent at his job. village shop prices are excellent and the home baked bread and rolls are to die for. Staff are very helpfull at all times and are committed to ensure your stay there is perfect. Good to know that asda delivers to the door... More

A realy good time. The peace and wuiet are wonderfull. When driveing around you may see 4 cars. Sometimes none. A visit to Rannoch Station is a must. The most desolate Railway Station in the UK. Miles from anywhere yet trains operate.

We stayed in Highland Lodge 45 for a week in February and had an amazing holiday! We found the facilities to be excellent and the lodge itself fantastically well equipped with spectacular views over the Loch. The staff were very helpful and friendly and any issues with the Lodge such as light bulbs not working were remedied very promptly. The... More

First of all would reviewers please not get their reviews of the Club mixed up with the (in my opinion) dreadful MacDonald Loch Rannoch Hotel. The two are entirely separate businesses! A few reviewers have mentioned the cost of electricity - to give you an idea of costs, for a full week in a lodge that sleeps 6 I've paid... More

Stayed for a week 10th jan - 17th jan. Arrived ok, then the snow came !! Several times we were unable to get the car out, but this meant we just went walking from the site along the loch, great views. We were well wrapped up against the elements so enjoyed trekking in the snow and enjoying the spectacular scenery,... More

We stayed in Highland Lodge 34 and had great views over the loch and across to the local munroe - Schiehallion. Our visit was from 29 Nov - 6 Dec 14 and our electric bill for warming a 3 bedroom lodge for the week was £83. It's an upside down lodge (bedrooms downstairs) which works well and provides wonderful views... More
