Stayed for a week 10th jan - 17th jan. Arrived ok, then the snow came !! Several times we were unable to get the car out, but this meant we just went walking from the site along the loch, great views. We were well wrapped up against the elements so enjoyed trekking in the snow and enjoying the spectacular scenery,... More

We stayed in Highland Lodge 34 and had great views over the loch and across to the local munroe - Schiehallion. Our visit was from 29 Nov - 6 Dec 14 and our electric bill for warming a 3 bedroom lodge for the week was £83. It's an upside down lodge (bedrooms downstairs) which works well and provides wonderful views... More

Outstanding location for natural beauty whatever the weather. As others report accommodation is first rate and staff and local very friendly and welcoming. Not all attractions and restaurants are available all year round so check. Local shop has most of your needs including post office.

We have stayed here three times, twice in the studios and once in red deer. The accommodation is adequate, but the price of heating is expensive, however if you are sensible and turn it off when you go out and don't heat the bathroom towel rail the cost is acceptable ( be it a little arctic like in the loo!)... We stayed in otter 2 apartments which I think has been done out recently, can't fault the apartment had everything you needed and more , the view from the conservatory is breath taking and we had beautiful weather we stayed end of October we were lucky, it's a hidden gem for a walking and sight seeing holiday, the resort is... We've just had a great week's holiday in a Studio lodge at the Loch Rannoch Highland Club. There's just the two of us so the Studio suited us fine 'though it does sleep four in comfort. There are bigger lodges of course but all are up to the same high standard of fittings and equipment. It's a fine central location... More

When we arrived at loch rannoch we were 4 hrs to early but the staff on arrival were friendly enough advising us that we would only have to wait an hour or so and that the cleaners were doing their best to get finished! We were in apartment 12 as part of an exchange and we were so pleased at... More

This is our second stay we first came in June and stayed in Red Deer 2 as an exchange and loved the location, deciding we wanted to spend more time here, we viewed Lochside Appts and that decided it for us as they sit right on the shore with breathtaking views. So we returned in September to stay in our... More

Spent a few days here as part of a time share exchange. Nice and pretty remote location in the Scottish Highlands. The atmosphere was very peaceful and tranquil. A car is essential to get around and most places are a long drive away. No local recreational facilities available eg pool, games etc. Not part of the Macdonalds group and the... More

We spent a week here on a timeshare exchange scheme and were in apartment 15. Some reviews have talked about the furnishings being tired or dated but it's probably a matter of taste. Our apartment had a lot of heavy wood and tartan but why not? It was very clean and comfortable and the conservatory with a view over the... More
