First impressions of the hotel are very disappointing - old caravans in the driveway and a dated drab building. I was one of many using this hotel for a wedding - on arrival the gentleman at reception tried to charge me £10.00 more for my room. I was however, given a double room instead of the single that I had... More

Advertises itself as an all day café. Although appears to be cooked to order, the bar meal I ordered was roast chicken with sauté potatoes and veg. The roast chicken was chunks of chicken cooked in a frying pan so it was dry and tough. It was served with chips and a few peas. You can get much better for... More

We were staying here for a family wedding at Belvoir Castle. The location for this was absolutely perfect. Check in was quick and relatively friendly although not particularly welcoming. The place itself needs a bit of upgrading and this seems to be happening at the moment. The room was pretty much in line with expectations and best described as a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights came to Grantham for a friends wedding, first impressions I thought it looked a bit run down from the outside. So we arrive on a Friday at around 4 ish, check in go to the room to drop our stuff off, rooms are big seemed very clean but our toilet didn't flush properly. So... More

We booked this hotel as an affordable weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary. Our original plan was to visit and explore the local area on foot and find a restaurant, but as this hotel is set in the countryside, the nearest bordering the village of Bingham being a mile or so down the A52 we decided to make the most... The plus points: The room was cheap. The bad points: Although the bedding, towels and bathroom were clean in my room, that didnt seem to be consistant through out our booking. The rooms were dusty with spiders webs. The wallpaper was peeling off in my room. The walls and floor were so thin I could hear people throwing up in... More

I stayed here on the Saturday night before Mother's Day. I was put off on arrival by the old scruffy dirty caravans that looked like they had been there for 50 years and never been washed with scruffy tarpaulin attached. Yuk! I would have driven away then if I was on my own, but had arranged to meet an old... More

Firstly let me point out that we have eaten a number of times before and the last time we did see a small decline in the food but when I say today was the worst meal I have ever eaten, believe me because it was... I thought it would be nice to treat both our Mums for a carvery being... More

This place should be avoided like the plague. I had a reservation for a Sunday night which I arrived at 19:30 only to find the place pretty much shut. Not a light was on in the building besides the entrance which was of course locked (ring for assistance was written on the door). Myself and another women had to wait... More
