Just returned from a 3 day break at this beautiful hotel; we have nothing but praise for the wonderful staff - from Receptionists Claire and Julie to waiting staff Faye, Marie and Gareth to the remarkable chef whose food was original, tasty, beautifully cooked and presented and adapted to meet our occasional requests for alternatives. Yes, on Sunday morning the... More

My customer pointed this hotel after a very bad one I had last night. This is 1000 times better. Typical oldstyle UK. Friendly people, beautifull location, nice food.... What do I have to say more? Just a pleasant stay. Even while I'm here the first day now and 6 nights to go, I must say: next time again!

Stayed at the Guisborough hall hotel last month over 2 nights. Checking in was smooth and welcoming, our room was nice and clean and had everything we required. Breakfast like reports on here were very busy and at some times chaotic but that's because everyone seems to turn up at once, we avoided this by reviewing here on ta and... More

Dear Englishtillidie Thank you for taking the time in posting your review on tripadvisor following your recent break at Gisborough Hall, I was pleased to read your comments. We endeavour to avoid breakfast congestion at 9.00am peak, breakfasts are freshly produced and it can be challenging when 100 people walk into the restaurant in half an hour. Following feedback we... Had a night away last weekend at Gisborough with family. The setting and the hall itself is wonderful and full of character. However for a four star experience and the price of the room, we felt that their could have been crisper bed linen. Although in saying that the bed was very comfortable.Breakfast was lovely and food hot when ordered.... More

Dear f6travellers Thank you for your feedback, I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay overall. I agree the beds are really comfortable; I will however review with my housekeeper the crispness of the current linen standard especially after recently changing supplier. It is also a core standard for my team to ask on checkout if the stay had been... More

We love the Guisborough Hall Hotel and have been there on various occasions. Knowing that it was dog friendly we decided to take our little cavalier with us this year as he loves his holidays. When we got to our room, we were so impressed to see that they are not only dog friendly, but had actually put a lovely... More

Dear Sue W Thank you for your review on tripadvisor. I am so pleased that your four legged friend enjoyed its treat. A member of my team Alyson put together our dog package; it is a surprise and delight for our guests. The charge that we add is for deep cleaning the rooms especially for those future guests who have... More

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at Gisborough Hall while visiting a friend in Redcar. The building built in 1856 is impressive retaining all of its original charm. It is found at the end of a driveway and stands in its owns gardens. We had a very warm welcome from the two receptionists who explained where everything... More

We booked this package for my parents 64th Wedding Anniversary. On arrival we had our bubbly and then a delicious cream tea later on. Compliments to the scone maker. The breakfasts were great with a good choice. On our last night we had dinner in Chaloner's restaurant. The food was superb. What made our stay special was the service given... More
